I’m completely hooked on this story! It follows Sung Jin-Woo, who starts as the absolute weakest hunter imaginable. But things change fast! He unlocks this incredible power – he can pull the shadows out of defeated enemies and turn them into his own personal army! It’s amazing to watch his Shadow Army grow, especially as powerful fighters like Beru, Igris, and Bellion join the ranks. They quickly become this unstoppable force, and it’s just so cool to see!
Even though the Shadow Army is incredibly powerful within the world of Solo Leveling, several characters from other anime could still defeat it. These characters possess unbelievable power – some can render physical attacks ineffective with their magic, while others are strong enough to wield entire galaxies as weapons.
Muzan’s Regeneration Makes Him Nearly Impossible for the Shadow Army to Kill
Okay, so as a huge fan of Demon Slayer, let me tell you, if the Shadow Army ever went up against Muzan, the Demon King himself, his regeneration would be their biggest nightmare. Seriously, the guy can instantly rebuild himself thanks to his incredible control over his own body! And it’s not just one vital organ you need to worry about – he’s got seven hearts and five brains scattered throughout his body. There’s no easy way to take him down, no single spot where the Shadow Army could land a reliable blow. It’s a truly terrifying ability!
Muzan has the ability to break his body into countless pieces and perfectly rebuild it, making it impossible for the Shadow Army to defeat him through brute force alone. His ultimate form amplifies this with incredibly fast healing, complete control over his cells, and immense stamina, making him a nearly insurmountable opponent.
Gojo’s Cursed Techniques Are Powerful Enough to Solo Sung Jin-woo’s Shadow Army
Gojo Satoru is widely considered the most powerful sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen. He was born with a rare ability called Six Eyes and a technique known as Limitless, a combination unseen in four centuries. A major challenge for his enemies, like the Shadow Army, is that they can’t physically harm him. His technique, Infinity, creates an invisible barrier that slows down any attack before it can reach him – effectively stopping blows from opponents such as Beru, Igris, and Bellion.
If Gojo chooses to fight, his technique, Unlimited Void, creates a space filled with overwhelming information. Anyone caught inside is instantly paralyzed, as their mind and body can’t process the endless stimuli. Furthermore, Gojo’s incredibly sharp senses make the Shadow Army’s teamwork useless against him.
Aizen’s Immortality and Kyoka Suigetsu Make Him One of the Shadow Army’s Worst Nightmares
Facing off against Sung Jin-Woo’s Shadow Army, Aizen possesses two powers they’d struggle to counter: the Hogyoku grants him near-immortality, and Kyoka Suigetsu allows for complete hypnosis. He’s a master of both, honed over centuries as the main villain in Bleach, where he spent years manipulating people before revealing his ultimate goal: to overthrow the gods.
The Hogyoku completely heals Aizen’s injuries, even allowing him to recover from Ichigo’s strongest attack, Mugetsu, with only a temporary setback. Even more problematic is Aizen’s Kyoka Suigetsu, which manipulates all five senses and spiritual awareness. This makes it impossible for opponents like Beru and Igris to trust their perceptions, and completely disrupts the Shadow Army’s ability to fight as a team.
Ainz Has Too Many Instant Death Spells for Jin-woo’s Shadow Army to Handle
Ainz Ooal Gown, the Sorcerer King from Overlord, is the most powerful magic user in his world, possessing over 700 different skills – including abilities that can instantly kill or even control time. His spells, like ‘Grasp Heart’ which crushes an enemy’s heart from afar, are devastating. Even if someone manages to resist, it still leaves them stunned, and Jin-woo’s Shadow Army has no effective defense against such power.
Ainz uses Time Stop to effectively destroy the Shadow Army by preparing spells that launch the moment time resumes. His spell, The Goal of All Life is Death, is even more powerful, instantly killing enemies and bypassing any defenses for 12 seconds. According to the author of Overlord, defeating Ainz requires both the ability to stop time and protection against instant death effects – abilities the Shadow Army completely lacks.
Rimuru Goes From A Bottom-Tier Monster to a Literal God
Rimuru Tempest begins his journey in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime as a simple slime, but his unique skill allows him to grow incredibly strong. He can absorb defeated enemies, gaining their powers and becoming more dangerous with each battle. By the second season, he transforms into a powerful True Demon Lord, making previous challenges seem trivial.
Rimuru later acquires Raphael, a skill that allows him to study opponents and determine their weaknesses. He continues to grow, eventually developing Azathoth, a powerful ability that can completely obliterate enemies. This is particularly effective against Jin-woo, as Azathoth’s power to erase opponents bypasses the resurrection ability that Jin-woo’s Shadow Army depends on.
Yhwach Can See Every Future the Shadow Army Has and Rewrite All of Them
Because of his power, the Almighty, Yhwach can see all possible futures and select the one he wants to happen. This means he anticipates every move of Sung Jin-Woo’s Shadow Army and ensures a future where their attacks never land, effectively defeating them on his own.
Yhwach is nearly impossible to defeat because he can change the future. Whenever he’s killed, he simply replaces that timeline with one where he survives. Even if his enemies manage to kill him, he can bring in a version of himself from a reality where he still lives. Essentially, he can erase his own death from existence, making any victory against him temporary.
Anti-Spiral Plays With Entire Universes
Anti-Spiral is the most frightening being in Gurren Lagann. It’s essentially the combined mind of an entire race that deliberately stopped itself from evolving and moved beyond normal life. Anti-Spiral has the power to guarantee its own victory by altering the very rules of reality, making it impossible for its opponents to win.
Anti-Spiral is incredibly powerful, capable of combining galaxies into a devastating attack called the Infinity Big Bang Storm. He can also imprison opponents in an endless, inescapable multiverse. Because of this, the Shadow Army, unable to fight beings beyond their dimensional reach, would be easily defeated by Anti-Spiral.
Goku Would Solo Sung Jin-woo’s Shadow Army Without Breaking a Sweat
Goku, the hero of Dragon Ball, is incredibly powerful. Throughout the series, he’s battled and won against enemies who could obliterate universes – and even multiple universes! His most powerful transformation, Ultra Instinct, allows his body to react and fight completely on its own, dodging attacks and countering without him even needing to think.
Jin-woo’s ability to constantly improve and heal gives him an edge in many battles, but it wouldn’t be enough against Goku. Even with his powerful abilities, Jin-woo couldn’t withstand a single Kamehameha wave from Goku when he’s reached Perfected Ultra Instinct – it’s strong enough to defeat most of the Shadow Army.
Yogiri Only Needs One Word to Wipe Out the Shadow Army
Yogiri Takato, the main character from My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, appears to be a typical high schooler, but he’s actually the personification of death. His power lets him instantly kill anyone or anything he focuses on – there’s no escaping it. Whatever he decides must die, simply ceases to exist.
This ability works instantly, eliminating any danger before it can actually hit him. Because of this, the Shadow Army wouldn’t be able to defeat him – as soon as he identifies them as a threat, the battle is over.
Saitama Would End Jin-woo’s Entire Shadow Army With a Single Punch
Saitama is an incredibly powerful anime character, and the show One-Punch Man centers on his unbeatable strength. He’s demonstrated this power by creating an explosion with Cosmic Garou that destroyed stars and left a huge emptiness in space. He can withstand attacks that would wipe out entire galaxies without being harmed, and he’s capable of destroying planets with minimal effort.
The Shadow Army’s best chance against Saitama is to defeat him immediately with one powerful attack. If the fight lasts, Saitama will only become more powerful. Jin-woo’s abilities simply aren’t strong enough to significantly harm Saitama, who can easily withstand or deliver far more destructive blows. Saitama could defeat the entire Shadow Army with a single punch.
