Alix Earle Responds to Alex Cooper Calling Her Out Over Feud

Alix Earle is ready to speak about her feud with Alex Cooper.

Okay, so things are still heating up between me and Alex Earle! After I asked her on TikTok to really lay out what’s going on with our little disagreement, she finally responded. It was short and sweet – she just said ‘Okay on it!!’ – but honestly, that’s enough to know she’s thinking about it and we might actually get some clarity soon. Stay tuned, because I’m hoping she’ll share her side of the story!

As for what Cooper said in her initial shoutout?

In a TikTok posted on April 13th, she directly addressed someone, saying, ‘I need you to stop with the indirect posts, likes, and comments. If you have something to say to me, just be direct and tell me what it is.’

The 31-year-old challenged anyone with a problem to speak up directly, saying there were no restrictions preventing them from doing so. They asked, simply, ‘What’s the issue?’

In September 2023, Cooper brought Earle onto her Unwell Network, where Earle began hosting the Hot Mess podcast. But in February 2025, the podcast was cancelled following reports of a strained relationship between Cooper and Earle.

Until now, neither Cooper nor Earle had explicitly addressed their rift.

Cooper expressed her frustration with what she sees as manufactured drama, stating she’s tired of seeing it used as a distraction from other online issues. In a post from April 13th, she made it clear she’s aware of the situation and believes the other person involved is too.

 

Although Earle didn’t discuss her reasons for leaving Cooper’s platform right away, a year later she explained that she wanted to explore different creative avenues, which influenced her decision.

She explained in a TikTok video earlier this year that she was questioning her direction and really wanted to start making vlogs.

She finished by saying, “Go ahead and speak your mind. Unless, of course, you’d rather believe a made-up story than the real one. I’m completely open and honest about everything between us.”

TopMob News has reached out to reps for Cooper and Earle but has not yet heard back.

Six months after her podcast launched on the Unwell Network, 25-year-old Earle suggested she was planning to publicly discuss a disagreement with Cooper, explaining that her astrology app was encouraging her to share what happened.

In an August TikTok video, she shared that the Co-Star app told her she was empowered to take action. She read the app’s message, which said, ‘You can start some things.’ She then wondered if this meant the moment she’d been waiting for had finally arrived, adding that she had a lot on her mind.

Earle explained that he often checks his Co-Star app each morning for guidance, and today it’s advising him to focus on ‘Revenge,’ leaving him unsure if he should follow the advice.

Cooper hasn’t said much publicly about the issues between them, but she did say last March that the break from her show, Hot Mess, after it moved from the Unwell Network, wasn’t caused by anything happening with Unwell.

I was so confused when I saw her Instagram post back in March – she just said she didn’t know why her stuff wasn’t being released or what the hold-up was. She also mentioned that ‘Unwell’ had given her everything back, meaning she fully owns all her work and rights to it, which made the situation even more baffling!

While we wait to see what happens with the Cooper and Earle conflict, here’s a look at some other famous public disagreements between celebrities…

In January 2024, Bobby addressed speculation about a disagreement with Tan, following his announcement in November 2023 that he was leaving Queer Eye after eight seasons. (Bobby is pictured second from left.)

He told Vanity Fair that he and Tan are doing okay despite a personal issue. He explained that whatever happened was between the two of them and didn’t affect the show, and it wasn’t a romantic matter.

In March 2024, Tan addressed claims that he tried to get his friend Jeremiah Brent to replace Bobby on the show Queer Eye.

Netflix and the production team held extensive auditions. I didn’t recommend my friend for the role, but they ultimately landed it because they were the most qualified. I also want to clarify that I didn’t help them get the part by having anyone else removed from consideration, as he explained in an Instagram post.

Oh my god, you will NOT believe what Sharon Osbourne said! Back in September 2023, she and Kelly were playing this game, ‘Stir the Pot,’ on TopMob News, and she just unloaded on Danny Masterson! She said he’s the rudest celebrity she’s EVER encountered! She seriously called him a “rude, rude, rude, rude little boy” and even a “dastardly little thing!” I mean, wow. I was shocked! It was so intense to watch, and honestly, I’ve never seen Sharon talk about anyone like that before. I just can’t get over it!

Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE this! So, five years ago, Sharon was on Larry King, and she spilled the tea about Ashton! Apparently, back in 2014 when he was on The Talk, he was seriously annoyed – she said he had a total attitude problem – because she accidentally messed up his name! Can you imagine? He was so bothered by that! It’s just… everything about Ashton is fascinating, even when he’s a little grumpy about his name!

She remembered him asking, ‘Who are you and what have you accomplished in this field?’ She responded sharply, telling him, ‘Don’t underestimate me, because I’ll completely overwhelm you.’ She added, ‘You have no idea who you’re talking to.’

In August 2022, Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris publicly disagreed with Brittany Aldean, wife of country singer Jason Aldean, after Brittany posted a video on Instagram. In the video, posted on August 23rd, Brittany thanked her parents for not allowing her to transition during a phase where she preferred traditionally masculine interests, stating she enjoyed her current feminine lifestyle.

In a 2022 TikTok trend, JoJo Siwa called Candace Cameron Bure the “rudest” celebrity she’d ever met. She explained that this was because Bure once declined to pose for a photo with her at a red carpet event, which Siwa felt was a rejection. Soon after, Bure publicly apologized, saying she had unintentionally hurt Siwa when she was younger and expressing her regret for not taking the picture. She told Siwa, “I feel crummy, I’m so sorry.”

Candace and the other person resolved their differences. However, when asked months later if her network, Great American Family, would ever feature same-sex couples as the main characters in its holiday movies, she stated that wasn’t likely, explaining that the network would continue to focus on traditional marriage.

JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, responded to the actress’ comment on Instagram, calling it “rude and hurtful to the entire LGBTQ+ community.”

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed that Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art of her band, Hole, for a promotional photo without providing credit. Olivia responded with a message of support, saying, “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, “Olivia – you’re welcome. My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London! DM me for details! I look forward to reading your note [winking face emoji].”

While on Watch What Happens Live, the Happy Days actor explained why he and the Forrest Gump star didn’t get along while filming their 1989 movie, Turner & Hooch.

I directed the movie for thirteen days, and then Jeff Katzenberg, the producer, called me into his office and told me to go home, saying I had everything I needed.

Winkler and Hanks’ dog seemed to get along very well. “I really loved that dog,” Winkler said.

He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick. 

“You know what you did!”

Anyone who watched The Hills probably remembers that famous line from Lauren, spoken at the start of season three. The drama between her and Heidi began when Heidi started dating Spencer Pratt. It really exploded when Lauren claimed Heidi and Spencer spread a false rumor about her and her then-boyfriend, Jason Wahler, alleging she’d made a sex tape.

Tyrese and Dwayne Johnson had a public falling out in 2017, starting with an Instagram post where Tyrese criticized Dwayne after the release of Fast & Furious 9 was delayed until April 2020. On the same day, a spin-off movie featuring Dwayne and Jason Statham was announced, slated for release in 2019. Shortly after, Tyrese said he would leave Fast 9 if Dwayne was still involved.

Tyrese recently discussed the conflict with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, telling Van Lathan on The Red Pill podcast that they still haven’t spoken directly, though he expects to. He mentioned he did talk to one of Johnson’s producing partners, but not Johnson himself.

Tyrese admitted he mistakenly voiced frustrations on behalf of others connected to the franchise. “I shouldn’t have publicly shared those feelings – it was unprofessional and a mistake on my part,” he explained.

No more bad blood here.

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry had a long-running public disagreement, rumored to be the inspiration behind Swift’s song “Bad Blood.” The conflict, which supposedly began due to a disagreement over a dancer and rivalry during concert tours, was resolved when Perry sent Swift an actual olive branch as a peace offering before Swift’s Reputation Tour began.

Taylor shared in an Instagram video that she found a real olive branch in her dressing room, saying it meant a lot to her.

For years, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, stars of Sex and the City, dismissed rumors of a disagreement. However, speculation resurfaced when Kim chose not to participate in a third movie and made some pointed remarks about her co-star.

During a September 2017 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Sarah Jessica Parker how she felt about Kim Cattrall telling Piers Morgan they had only ever been colleagues, not friends.

And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

Elton John and Madonna have been publicly disagreeing since 2004. The conflict began when Elton, while accepting an award, criticized Madonna’s live performances. He famously said that her being called the best live act was ridiculous, questioning how lip-syncing could be considered a live performance. He even jokingly suggested that performers who lip-sync during paid concerts should face serious consequences.

The actress, formerly known for her role on Grey’s Anatomy, caused a disagreement with the show’s creator back in 2008 when she asked to not be considered for an Emmy Award. She explained that she didn’t think the storylines she was given were strong enough to deserve a nomination.

Shonda Rhimes discussed Katherine’s choice in a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey on Oprah’s Next Chapter. She admitted it was both hurtful and expected. “I’ve learned to trust people’s actions,” Shonda explained. “When someone consistently demonstrates a certain behavior, pay attention—it’s a valuable lesson I live by.”

Cardi B recently told W magazine that someone has been repeatedly criticizing her. They had talked twice before and seemed to resolve things, but the criticism continued.

The conflict truly escalated when Cardi B noticed Nicki Minaj had reportedly liked, then unliked, a tweet criticizing Cardi’s parenting. Nicki has stated she didn’t actually interact with the tweet.

Cardi B explained she turned down a potentially hugely profitable Bruno Mars tour so she could be with her daughter, and she doesn’t regret it. She feels she’s a great mom, and she was frustrated that someone without children would criticize her for how she spends her time. She added that opportunities to meet artists are rare, and she wasn’t going to pass up a chance encounter just because it happened at a party or in a public place.

I remember when the drama between Kanye and Taylor first began back in 2009. It was shocking when he interrupted her acceptance speech at the VMAs! They actually seemed to patch things up and even became friends for a while, which was great to see. Sadly, it all fell apart again in 2016 with his song “Famous” – he mentioned her in it, and that seemed to be the final straw.

Just before the Grammys in February 2025, Kanye West began following only Taylor Swift on Instagram. He didn’t offer any explanation for the action, and Taylor Swift didn’t publicly acknowledge it.
