STALKER 2 Sealed Truth Update Adds New Free Content via Patch 1.010

GSC Game World just released a free update for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl called “Sealed Truth,” and it’s available on all platforms.

A new, free quest is now available in STALKER 2! Starting today, April 14th, players can download update 1.010 (full version 1.010.000) and explore the new questline within the iconic X-18 Lab.

What’s new

  • Explore a new questline that starts when you talk to Diode.
  • Fixed an issue causing overpopulation of strong mutant types in long campaigns.
  • Fixed an issue where the mission ‘Dark as a Dungeon’ would immediately cancel if the player had already reached the point of no return.
  • Added new loading screens.

PC players, please be aware that game updates can sometimes cause instability. The developers at GSC Game World explain that updates change the game, and any modifications (mods) you’re using might not work correctly afterward. If you experience performance problems or crashes after the “Sealed Truth” update, we recommend disabling your mods. With the recent update, expect a few quick fixes if any problems appear with the Sealed Truth patch.
