WNBA Romances: See Who Paige Bueckers, Angel Reese Have Teamed Up With

The Dallas Wings helped both their team and star player Paige Bueckers‘ personal life with their choice in the draft.

The Dallas Wings selected Azzi Fudd, a standout shooting guard from the University of Connecticut, with the first overall pick in the WNBA draft on April 13th. Fudd previously excelled playing alongside Paige Bueckers and is known for her impressive scoring ability.

Paige Bueckers and Caroline Dudd, former teammates who won a national championship together at UConn in 2025, publicly began dating last summer. Bueckers confirmed the relationship in a July interview with WAG Talk, shortly after Fudd was spotted with a phone case declaring herself ‘Paige Bueckers’ Girlfriend’.

Now that Paige Bueckers and I will be teammates again in Dallas – she was drafted by the Wings last year – I’m really excited,” Fudd told ESPN after being selected by the Texas team. “She’s a fantastic person and player, and it’s going to be a lot of fun playing with her again.”

Of course, this couple isn’t the only pair of professional basketball players who have found romance.

Okay, so I was reading this interview with Caitlin Clark – seriously, I follow everything about her – and she was talking about playing basketball with her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery. Apparently, their late-night games get intense! She said she’s definitely the better shooter – can you even imagine?! – but Connor tries to pretend he’s better. It’s so cute and competitive, I’m obsessed! She just casually dropped that she outshoots him more often, and I nearly screamed. Seriously, a queen!

During a recent TikTok segment for the Big Ten Network, Connor McCaffery was asked to respond to random questions. When he drew a photo of Caitlin Clark, he playfully quipped, “That’s someone who can’t guard me – and that’s all I’m saying!”

But it turned out to be true – the former Butler assistant coach confessed, “I’ll be honest, she’s incredible… Her shooting range is limitless, and she’s definitely a skilled basketball player.”

They’ve been working closely together for the last three years, and it shows. Other players in the league, like Clark, Bueckers, and Fudd, have also found success in their personal lives. Check out our rankings below!

He’s been working so hard, he deserves a break. So, I’m just letting him get all the rest he needs – honestly, that’s the best Valentine’s Day gift I could possibly give him. Seeing him recharge is everything!

Things are really exciting as Bam Adebayo showed his support for A’ja Wilson, who was named an All-Star for the fifth year in a row, at the WNBA All-Star event in July 2025.
