With the sequel to Superman, titled Man of Tomorrow, coming together, fans are especially interested in the cast. The movie will bring back several actors from last year’s hit DC film, alongside some new faces. Lars Eidinger will play the villain Brainiac, and Aaron Pierre is moving from the Lanterns series to play John Stewart on the big screen. There was a lot of talk about one more important role – Maxima – and after a list of potential actors circulated, the part has finally been filled.
Adria Arjona, known for her role in Andor, has joined the cast of Man of Tomorrow, according to The Hollywood Reporter. While details are scarce, Variety reports she’ll be playing the character Maxima. She was chosen for the part over Eva De Dominici, Sydney Chandler, and Grace Van Patten.
