Everything I’ve seen suggests 2026 is going to be a great year for Sci-Fi, with awesome stuff coming out in theaters and on TV.

In fact, the most compelling part of the Star Wars prequels was watching Hayden Christensen’s Anakin transform from a potential savior into a destructive force.
Similar to Anakin Skywalker, Paul Atreides in Dune is portrayed as a prophesied savior. However, the story hints that Paul, like Anakin, may become consumed by war and lose his way, as suggested in the upcoming Dune: Part Three. Considering fans connected with Anakin’s tragic arc in Star Wars, a similar journey for Paul – from inspiring leader to a burdened and troubled figure – could resonate with audiences, even though it signifies the end of a significant period.
