The new crime thriller from ITV, featuring Gemma Arterton – known for her role as a Bond girl – will premiere soon. A release date has been announced.
The series centers on Kate Henderson, played by Arterton, who leads the Russian desk at MI6 while also navigating life as a married mother of two teenagers.
But everything changes for her when a secret investigation reveals that a prominent British politician may secretly be working for Russia.
So, now Kate’s on this crazy mission to uncover a mole inside the government. Things get really intense when someone turns up dead, and suddenly, everyone on her team is a suspect. It’s a total pressure cooker!
With her family and reputation at risk, it will take everything she has to keep things together.
The new series begins on Monday, April 27th at 9pm on ITV1. The second episode airs the following day, Tuesday, April 28th, at the same time. You can also watch it on ITVX.

The story follows Kate as she navigates a treacherous world of political secrets and broken trust. As alliances crumble and personal relationships become complicated, Kate finds herself in danger, and uncovering the truth could have devastating consequences.
Tom Bradby, the ITV News At 10 reporter and best-selling author, also wrote the script for the ITV series.
Gemma will be joined by a talented cast in the new show, including Rafe Spall playing Stuart Henderson, a charismatic and driven government advisor who is also Kate’s husband.
Mark Stanley, known for his roles in Trigger Point and Happy Valley, plays Ryan Walker, the Labour Party’s foreign secretary and a leading candidate to become the next Prime Minister. He’s joined by Rochenda Sandall, from Line of Duty, who plays his political advisor, Melissa Morris.
The cast also includes Amaka Okafor, known for her role in The Responder, as Imogen Conrad, a potential Prime Minister. Aoife Hinds, from Dune: Prophecy, will play Julie Price, a colleague of Kate’s who works on the Russian desk. And Alex Kingston, famous for Doctor Who, joins as Rose Trewen, the head of security for the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS).
