Wardrum launches May 7

Team17 and Mopeful Games have announced that their PC roguelite tactical rhythm game, Wardrum, will be released on Steam on May 7th.

Here is an overview of the game, via Team17:

About

Imagine a game that combines the strategic battles of Fire Emblem with the rhythm-based gameplay of Parappa the Rapper. In Wardrum, you’ll navigate a challenging fantasy world, carefully planning and executing your strategies to the beat of powerful tribal drums. Timing is everything – the more in sync you are with the drums, the more effective your actions will be!

A strange, disruptive magic is spreading across the land, causing nearby towns to crumble. You and a team of five warriors are the only ones who can restore balance. Embark on a journey through a dangerous fantasy world powered by rhythm, and defeat the source of this chaotic force before it’s too late.
