Kitaria Fables 2 announced for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC

PQube and the developers at Secret Level Studios and Twin Hearts have revealed Kitaria Fables 2, the next installment in the Kitaria Fables series which originally launched in 2021. The game will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam, though a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet.

Following the story of Kitaria Fables (2021), the sequel introduces Alice Skylar, a determined soldier, and Dusty Tuftkin, a cheerful guide, as they embark on a journey through the uncharted Arkadera Peninsula. Players will master different combat abilities for each character, collect resources, and craft strong equipment. They can also build and manage their own farm, and enjoy the game solo or with friends through online or local co-op.

Okay, so I’ve been playing Kitaria Fables 2, and it’s a big step up from the first one! The biggest change for me is the camera – it’s way more free now, letting you see so much more of the world. They’ve also cut down on the grind – the areas are bigger, and getting around is easier with improved fast travel. Leveling up feels more natural too, based on your experience. And if you’re into farming like I am, you’re gonna love this – there are tons of new crops, and you actually get to rebuild a farm! It all adds up to a really immersive experience, honestly.

The Arkadera Peninsula, a faraway land once at the western border of the Empire, sits across the vast Endless Ocean. Over time, as the Empire’s power waned, the forts that once guarded Arkadera fell into ruin, leaving the people to find safety within the walls of Whitewall Town.

Determined to showcase her abilities, Royal Army scout Alice Skylar teams up with resourceful local guide Dusty Tuftkin. Together, they join the Royal Academy Expedition Team on a mission to revive the legendary errand house in Whitewall Town, map the surrounding peninsula, and rebuild the area’s abandoned outposts.

As the expedition travels deeper into the northern wilderness, whispers start to spread about a strange figure said to be hidden within it…
