Natalie Portman Pregnant With Baby No. 3, First With Tanguy Destable

Natalie Portman‘s next role? V for Very Pregnant.

Natalie Portman is pregnant and expecting a baby with her boyfriend, Tanguy Destable, she told Harper’s Bazaar. Portman is also a mother to two children – a 14-year-old son, Aleph, and a 9-year-old daughter, Amalia – from her previous relationship with Benjamin Millepied.

Tanguy and I are thrilled,” she told a news source on April 17th. “I feel incredibly thankful, and I realize how lucky and fortunate we are.”

“I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant,” the 44-year-old added, referring to her father’s work as a fertility doctor. “I have so many people I love who’ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well. It’s such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it’s also not an easy thing.”

Noting “how lucky it is,” she concluded, “I have deep appreciation and gratitude.”

This news follows her divorce from her husband, which was finalized two years ago. They married in 2012. She was first connected to the French musician last March, but they’ve mostly kept their relationship private, only going on dates occasionally.

As someone who’s always believed in mindful living, I really admire how Natalie Portman handles family life. Just like her new relationship, she’s very private about her kids, keeping them away from the constant buzz of social media and public attention. She does give us little glimpses into their life as a family now and then, which I think is a lovely balance – enough to feel connected, but still protecting their privacy.

Natalie Portman shared that her children aren’t interested in watching her films. She told TopMob News that she always told them they could watch if they wanted, maybe if their friends had, but they consistently declined, saying they weren’t interested.

She finished by saying, “You’ll discover true love within yourself—a love that doesn’t require anything in return. That’s the most vital love of all. Love, Mom.”

She recently shared with Tiffany & Co.’s audience that true strength isn’t something you discover, but something you create over time. It’s built through finding your beliefs when you’re unsure, clarity when things are confusing, and happiness in ordinary moments. It’s found in solitude, in both joy and hardship, with dignity, resilience, and bravery – it’s the very essence of being human.
