Wednesday season 3 confirms major location change in first look at Jenna Ortega in new episodes

Wednesday season 3 is headed to the city of love!

Although the next season of the popular fantasy show isn’t coming out for a while, Netflix has given fans a first glimpse of Jenna Ortega’s character looking troubled, set against a famous Parisian backdrop. They shared the image with the caption, “From Paris, with dread.”

Filming is underway in Paris, and Jenna Ortega has been spotted with the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop, along with her co-star, Thing. She appears to be holding a letter, possibly an invitation that brought her to the city.

Right now, it’s unclear why Wednesday will be going to Paris in season 3. However, some viewers think it might have to do with Enid (Emma Myers) possibly leaving Nevermore Academy after her werewolf transformation in season 2 appeared to be permanent.

We don’t have all the details about the story yet, but the cast for season 3 is looking fantastic!

The cast is growing with exciting additions! Eva Green will play Aunt Ophelia, alongside Winona Ryder as Tabitha, Chris Sarandon as Balthazar, Noah Taylor as Cyrus, Oscar Morgan as Atticus, and Kennedy Moyer as Daisy.

Recently, Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, and James Lance have joined the cast, though their specific roles haven’t been revealed yet.

Filming for Season 3 started in Ireland this February, bringing back the main cast including Jenna Ortega as Wednesday, Emma Myers as Enid, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, Luis Guzmán as Gomez, Hunter Doohan as Tyler, and Fred Armisen as Fester, among others.

Alfred Gough, a co-creator and showrunner of Wednesday, shared with Tudum that the team’s aim for season 3 is simply to make it the strongest season of the show yet.

Miles Millar, who co-created and runs the show, said they plan to explore the characters and the world of Nevermore and Wednesday even further. Season 3 will also introduce more members of the Addams family and reveal more about their hidden history!

We’ll be (not so) patiently waiting over here!
