An original actor from Avatar: The Last Airbender has seen the leaked sequel movie.
The actor has acknowledged the significant leak of the upcoming movie, Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender, saying they’ve only briefly looked at it. A complete, high-definition version of the Last Airbender sequel leaked online in mid-April 2025. Paramount is investigating how this happened, but they don’t think it was due to a security breach. Originally planned for cinemas, the movie is now set to be released as a Paramount+ exclusive.
Olivia Hack, the original voice of Ty Lee in Avatar: The Last Airbender, recently shared her thoughts on the new live-action adaptation at Supanova Melbourne. According to Collider, she watched some of Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender and was impressed with the animation. She believes the movie deserves a theatrical release based on what she’s seen so far.
Check out what Hack had to say below:
I quickly previewed it, and the visuals are stunning. Since I’ve already paid for access – I’m a subscriber – I checked it out. I haven’t actually watched the full thing yet, because I think it should be released in theaters first. But based on what I’ve seen, it looks truly spectacular, and the artwork is beautiful. I’m saying it’s best experienced on the big screen.
