Elden Ring Fans Think They’ve Spotted Marika On The Movie Set

Details about A24’s upcoming Elden Ring movie are still scarce, but set photos are starting to give us a clearer picture. Initially, it seemed the film would take place after the major war known as The Shattering. However, newer photos hint that we might also see The Lands Between as it existed before this devastating event.

We’ve been analyzing the latest set photos, and haven’t yet seen any of the game’s main characters. However, a recent photo may finally reveal Queen Marika, a central figure in the story. The photo shows someone dressed similarly to her in-game appearance.

Elden Ring Movie’s Queen Marika May Have Been Revealed

Okay, so I saw this image floating around, and it looks pretty legit, but honestly, with all the AI stuff going on these days, you just can’t be sure anymore. I’m seeing a ton of fake images popping up, so I’m trying not to get too hyped. This one doesn’t look like it was made by AI, thankfully, but the big thing is, there’s still no official word on whether it’s actually Marika. Just keeping that in mind!

Okay, now that’s said, she really looks like Marika, doesn’t she? It makes me think the movie might start with a big prologue, kind of like Lord of the Rings, to explain the world and what happened with The Shattering. It’d be cool, because Marika isn’t a huge presence in the actual game. I know Radagon’s involved, but you get what I mean – we need some backstory on her.

The Reddit user Disastrous_Tough7046 shared a photo that’s sparked some discussion about the character’s appearance. People agree Marika’s costume is very accurate. However, the special effects that will show her as a goddess won’t be visible until the finished movie is released. Overall, most think it looks good for an unofficial picture taken on set.

The child with horns, reminiscent of Morgott, suggests this scene might be a flashback or an introduction to the story. It’s possible we’re seeing a younger version of that character, or simply someone who looks similar. Since filming is still happening, we’ll have to wait for official details about the movie.
