Movies about famous musicians usually have great soundtracks, and the new film about Michael Jackson is no exception.
Despite serious allegations that have clouded his reputation, Michael Jackson created some of the greatest pop songs of all time, and many of those hits are featured in the new, often debated film.
As a longtime fan, I was immediately struck by the incredible soundtrack in this film. It’s a journey through Michael Jackson’s entire career, starting with his early days with the Jackson 5 – remember the sweet sounds of ‘I’ll Be There’? – and continuing right through to his absolute biggest hits like ‘Billie Jean’ and the unforgettable ‘Thriller’. It’s truly packed with amazing music.
Michael Jackson’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson, will play Michael in the movie, with young actor Juliano Krue Valdi portraying him as a child. Jaafar will also be performing his own versions of some of Michael’s most famous songs.
Read on for all the songs that feature.
