Later this year, ITV will air a new reality show giving viewers an inside look at the lives of Jamie and Rebekah Vardy.
The upcoming series, “The Vardys,” promises to be captivating as it documents the family’s major life change: moving overseas after 13 years with Leicester City.
The game began with a particularly moving match for Jamie, marked by his 200th goal, but the more compelling drama happens behind the scenes, where his mother, Rebekah, is busy managing everything.
After a challenging five years living in the UK, Rebekah is looking forward to what comes next. However, moving to Italy with her four children and famous footballer husband wasn’t part of the plan.
Dealing with the stress of her recent move, she’s been thinking about the difficulties she faced in the UK. She’s determined to move past the public ‘Wagatha’ scandal and look forward to a fresh start.

This series offers a remarkably close and personal look at the Vardys as they navigate a new chapter in their lives. It captures all the ups and downs – from the stress of finding a new home and school, to unforeseen challenges and tough moments. All this happens while Jamie Vardy, at 38, fights to prove himself with his Italian football club, US Cremonese, despite many questioning his ability.
Join the Vardys as they adjust to life in Italy, facing funny disagreements, building new connections, and experiencing all the surprises that come with a new culture. Will Jamie recapture the spirit that made him a success? Can Rebekah find contentment and a fresh start away from the intense British media? And will the whole Vardy family finally achieve the happy ending they’re hoping for?
In 2019, Rebekah Vardy became well-known after Coleen Rooney publicly accused someone with access to Rebekah’s Instagram account of sharing private information with the media. This led to a legal case in the High Court, which Rebekah ultimately lost.
Louise Major, an editor at ITV, expressed excitement about collaborating with the Vardys on their new series for ITV1 and ITVX. She described the show as a candid and intimate portrayal of a significant period in their lives, covering Jamie’s successful football career and their family’s journey forward, with Rebekah offering her perspective on a highly publicized story from the past ten years.

This is Jamie’s second big TV appearance recently. He’s also the subject of a new documentary that will be released on Netflix next month.
The first episode of Untold UK will premiere on Tuesday, May 12th, and will focus on Jamie Vardy. It includes never-before-seen footage, candid stories from inside the locker room, and interviews with Vardy himself, his wife Rebekah, fellow players, coaches, and close friends.
Jamie Vardy’s story is a classic underdog tale of how a young man from Sheffield defied expectations and achieved incredible success in professional football. This documentary tells his life story, straight from his own perspective, showcasing how he broke records and challenged everything people thought was possible in the modern game.
