Prince Louis’ Adorable 8th Birthday Portrait Revealed

This photo is royally sweet.

To celebrate Prince Louis’s eighth birthday on April 23rd, his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, shared a new photo of him on social media. Prince Louis is the youngest of their three children, along with Prince George, age 12, and Princess Charlotte, age 10.

The official Instagram account for William and Kate shared a photo of Prince Louis, who is celebrating his 8th birthday. In the picture, Louis is smiling with his arms crossed, standing in front of the ocean, and wearing a blue sweater.

The Prince and Princess of Wales released behind-the-scenes photos and videos from Prince Louis’ birthday photoshoot. The footage showed the young prince, now eight years old, enjoying himself at the beach – digging in the sand, running, and splashing in the sea. They captioned the post with a simple message: “8 is great!”

Prince Louis’ grandparents, King Charles and Queen Camilla, also shared birthday wishes, reposting the announcement on the Royal Family’s Instagram Story.

As a devoted fan of the Royal Family, I was so happy to celebrate Prince Louis’ birthday! But April also held another very special occasion – we all came together to honor what would have been Queen Elizabeth II’s 100th birthday. It was lovely to see Charles, Camilla, William, and Kate commemorating her life together.

Charles and Camilla started their day by visiting the “Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style” exhibition at The King’s Gallery in Buckingham Palace. They viewed over 300 pieces of clothing from Queen Elizabeth II’s personal wardrobe.

The King and Queen visited the British Museum to see a model of the planned Queen Elizabeth Memorial. The memorial will be built in central London, with a view of The Mall.

The celebrations continued that evening at Buckingham Palace, where Charles and Camilla hosted a special reception honoring Elizabeth’s 100th birthday, joined by Kate and William.

The royal family celebrated with a large cake decorated with the number 100. They also spent time chatting with representatives from the Queen’s favorite charities, as well as people from the public who were also turning 100 years old on April 21st.

The Royal Family shared a video of their celebration on Instagram, saying it was wonderful to gather and reminisce about the last century!

Charles released another video remembering his mother, who passed away in 2022 at the age of 96.

The 77-year-old reflected that her long life had seen incredible changes, but throughout it all, she remained a dedicated and unwavering servant to those she worked for.

People will remember her for many reasons. Some will recall important national events, while others will cherish a brief, personal moment – a smile, a kind word, or even the joy she seemed to find in simple things, like sharing a marmalade sandwich with Paddington Bear near the end of her life.

Prince Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, was arrested on February 19th, his 66th birthday, and is suspected of wrongdoing while holding a public position.

I can’t believe it! They’ve arrested him! It’s all coming out now, finally! It’s because of that awful Jeffrey Epstein, of course. Everyone’s talking about their connection, and honestly, it’s been hanging over everything for years. He keeps saying he didn’t do anything wrong, but… I just don’t buy it. This whole thing is just so messed up!

Prince William and Princess Kate expressed sympathy for the victims of Jeffrey Epstein after a large number of documents related to the convicted sex offender were made public.

The 29-year-old man, who isn’t a royal and doesn’t have any official responsibilities, will be held for up to four weeks due to concerns he might commit further crimes. This follows a decision by the Oslo district court. His lawyer, Petar Sekulic, said they are thinking about challenging the ruling.

Høiby will appear in court on February 3rd to face charges related to four alleged rapes that occurred between 2018 and 2024, along with accusations of domestic violence and violating a restraining order.

In a statement to the Associated Press, his lawyers said Høiby denies all accusations of sexual abuse and most of the claims involving violence.

On her 44th birthday, the Princess of Wales shared a message on the power of nature to heal.

In a recent video, Kate reflected on winter’s ability to bring a sense of calm and introspection. She described how the season’s stillness allows us to slow down, look inward, and connect with both ourselves and the natural world, like seeing our reflection in a quiet stream.

I’ve been thinking about how thankful I am. It’s like a release – letting go of fears, finding peace with sadness, and truly understanding what it means to live and connect with the natural world. Nature is a gentle guide, reminding us of the past and helping us heal.

Princess Catherine made her first public appearance of 2026, joining her husband at Charing Cross Hospital in London. The visit was a show of support for healthcare workers and came nearly a year after she shared the news that her cancer was in remission.
