Season 4 of The Legend of Vox Machina is here, and it’s just as wild as before! The group is back together to face their biggest challenge yet.
A new trailer for the anime series was released, giving fans a longer look at what’s coming when the show returns on June 4th. The trailer revealed exciting new battles, characters, and foes—including a mysterious figure known as the “Whispered One.”
Season 4 begins a year after Vox Machina triumphed over the Chroma Conclave. Following their victory, the group members have each gone their own way, focusing on individual goals related to love, family, and finding their place in the world.
An exciting adventure is about to begin! An ancient evil has awakened and threatens the land, forcing a group of heroes to come together and face it.

Ever since the show was renewed for a fifth season in October 2024—announced by cast members Taliesin Jaffe, Laura Bailey, Marisha Ray, and Sam Riegel in a video—fans have eagerly anticipated its return.
The show will conclude after its fifth season, a decision the creators announced in July 2025.
Critical Role’s Matthew Mercer and Travis Willingham shared that it’s unusual for a TV show to fully tell the story it originally set out to tell, from start to finish.
