Invincible VS Gets New Trailer Showcasing its Action-Packed Original Story by the Show’s Writers

Developer Quarter Up recently shared more information about their upcoming 3v3 fighting game, Invincible VS. In a new trailer released on social media (see it below!), they confirmed the game will include a story mode with an original narrative created specifically for Invincible VS. Notably, the same team who wrote the Amazon Prime series is responsible for this new story.

The new trailer offers a sneak peek at scenes from Invincible VS, starting with a clash between Invincible and Omni-Man. It effectively introduces the various characters who will be part of the story, but it’s still unclear if the game will let you play as different characters during the fights, like many other fighting games do.

The next part of the story will focus on Omni-Man returning to Earth with the Viltrumites to take over the planet. It’ll be up to Invincible and his team to defend Earth, which will likely lead to exciting battles between familiar characters like Bulletproof and Anissa. We can expect to see all eighteen characters from the original game play a role.

The trailer also revealed what Quarter Up has planned after the game launches. Coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on April 30th, the studio confirmed that two new characters – Universa and The Immortal – will be released in Summer 2026 as part of the Year One Character Pass. The trailer also showed that a third character is coming in Fall 2026, followed by a fourth in Winter 2026.

Quarter Up has been gradually announcing the characters for Invincible VS, and in March, they released a trailer confirming Conquest would be included. Conquest is described as the Empire’s most powerful weapon, and his fighting style will focus on powerful, damaging attacks, including a charge-up punch for extra impact.

I got to check out some more of Conquest’s moves in a new trailer recently, and it looks like he’ll be going up against characters like Nolan, Invincible, and Eve! The developers also confirmed a few other characters who will be playable right away: Allen the Alien, Dupli-Kate, Titan, and a totally new character created just for Invincible VS named Ella Mental. I’m really excited to try them all out!

This month we got another trailer for the game, and it was awesome! It showed a ton of fast-paced action, giving us a really good look at how characters fight. It wasn’t just cutscenes either – the trailer focused on the actual gameplay, showing off all the different moves and combos you can pull off, like overhead attacks, special moves, juggling opponents, and even mix-ups to keep them guessing.
