Ahead of its release on July 9, 2026, Ubisoft has revealed the PC system requirements for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. This isn’t just a simple update of the original 2013 game; it’s a complete remake built with the newest version of the Anvil Engine. As such, the game needs significant processing power. Ubisoft has provided four different settings options, ranging from 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second to 4K at 60fps, and even the lowest setting utilizes ray tracing. Here’s a breakdown of the PC specs needed for each option.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced PC System Requirements — What Every Preset Shares
Before looking at specific graphics settings, Ubisoft states that all four performance tiers require the same basic setup. This includes Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), 16GB of RAM, and 65GB of SSD storage. A traditional hard drive won’t work—an SSD is mandatory. Ubisoft also confirms you’ll need an internet connection just to install the game. Once installed, you can play the entire story campaign offline, but features like the in-game Store, Anomalies, Projects, and Vault will always require an online connection. Ubisoft confirmed these requirements on April 23, 2026.

Minimum PC Requirements — 1080p at 30fps
To run Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced at 1080p resolution with 30 frames per second and low graphics settings, you’ll need at least an Intel Core i7-8700K (3.7GHz) or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (3.6GHz) processor. For the graphics card, the minimum requirements are an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 (6GB), an AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT (8GB), or an Intel Arc A580 (8GB). If you’re using an Intel Arc card, you’ll also need to enable ReBAR for it to work properly.
A key point is that ray tracing is a baseline feature. Ubisoft has included ray tracing in the game to work with all graphics cards, even those without dedicated ray tracing hardware. Players with older cards can still experience the lighting effects, though they won’t be as detailed or performant as on newer, more powerful cards.
Minimum
| CPU | Intel Core i7-8700K 3.7GHz AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6GHz |
| GPU | NVIDIA GTX 1660 (6GB) AMD RX 5500 XT (8GB) Intel Arc A580 (8GB)* |
| RAM | 16GB dual-channel |
| Storage | 65GB SSD |
Recommended PC Requirements — 1080p at 60fps
To enjoy Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced at 1080p resolution with smooth 60 frames per second, using medium graphics settings, standard ray tracing, and a balanced upscaler, you’ll need at least an Intel Core i5-10600K (running at 4.1GHz) or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (running at 3.6GHz). For the graphics card, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (with 12GB of memory), an AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT (8GB), or an Intel Arc B580 (12GB) with ReBAR enabled is recommended. The game still requires 16GB of dual-channel RAM and 65GB of free space on a solid state drive (SSD).
The suggested graphics settings aren’t too demanding for a recent PC game that uses ray tracing. However, Ubisoft recommends using upscaling technology, even at 1080p resolution.
| CPU | Intel Core i5-10600K 4.1GHz AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6GHz |
| GPU | NVIDIA RTX 3060 (12GB) AMD RX 6600 XT (8GB) Intel Arc B580 (12GB)* |
| RAM | 16GB dual-channel |
| Storage | 65GB SSD |
High PC Requirements — 1440p at 60fps
To achieve high settings, the game aims for a resolution of 2560×1440 at 60 frames per second with high visual quality, ray tracing enabled, and a balanced upscaling method. Ubisoft recommends at least an Intel Core i5-11600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor, combined with either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (10GB) or an AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT (16GB) graphics card. The system should also have 16GB of dual-channel RAM and a 65GB SSD.
This graphics setting is a good choice for PC gamers aiming for a 1440p resolution who have a mid-to-high-end computer—it delivers great visuals without needing the most powerful hardware.
| CPU | Intel Core i5-11600K AMD Ryzen 5 5600X |
| GPU | NVIDIA RTX 3080 (10GB) AMD RX 6800 XT (16GB) |
| RAM | 16GB dual-channel |
| Storage | 65GB SSD |
Ultra PC Requirements — 4K at 60fps
Okay, so if I really want to max out Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, the ‘Ultra’ preset is what I’m looking at. We’re talking a super smooth 60 frames per second at a 4K resolution, with all the visual settings cranked to the highest, plus ray tracing and a quality upscaler. To run this, I’d need at least an Intel Core i7-12700K (running at 3.6GHz) or an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (at 3GHz). And the graphics card? A powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 (with 24GB of memory) or an AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX (also with 24GB). Thankfully, the RAM and storage stay consistent with the other presets – 16GB of dual-channel RAM and a 65GB SSD.
Achieving ray tracing at 4K resolution is very challenging, and these settings reflect that difficulty. Gamers who don’t have the most powerful computers but still want to use ray tracing at higher resolutions will probably have the best experience with the High preset and upscaling enabled.
| CPU | Intel Core i7-12700K 3.6GHz AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D 3GHz |
| GPU | NVIDIA RTX 4090 (24GB) AMD RX 7900 XTX (24GB) |
| RAM | 16GB dual-channel |
| Storage | 65GB SSD |
Additional PC Features Confirmed by Ubisoft
In addition to the four graphics presets, Ubisoft has revealed several features for the PC version of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. These include support for technologies that improve performance and visual quality like upscaling and frame generation, as well as HDR and ultra-wide resolutions. Players can also enjoy an unlimited frame rate during both gameplay and cutscenes. The game is optimized for handheld devices like the Steam Deck and includes a built-in benchmark tool to help you find the best settings for your computer. Even if your graphics card doesn’t support ray tracing, you can still experience it thanks to software-based ray tracing.
The full confirmed system requirements are available directly on the official Ubisoft support page.
