Home and Away spoilers as Alf Stewart faces trouble amid health concerns thanks to new cop Richie

Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher) is annoyed by the arrival of police officer Richie Brezniak (Rocco Forrester-Sach) in Home and Away.

The new officer quickly clashes with many of the locals, even his supervisor, Senior Constable Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright), who begins to question whether he made the right choice in hiring him for the Yabbie Creek police station.

After the announcement that Forrester-Sachs would be joining the cast, a representative from the Seven Network hinted that Richie Brezniak will be a new addition to the Yabbie Creek police station team.

New police officer Richie is eager to prove himself, which might try the patience of his experienced colleague, Constable Cash Newman. Meanwhile, Richie is also catching the eye of Abby Fowler, and it looks like she might be falling for him.

Ritchie joins Cash on a regular traffic patrol, which is one of the few tasks Constable Ritchie is permitted to handle after attempting to unofficially return troubled criminal Tane Parata to Summer Bay.

He assures her that he’s fine, and doesn’t need any intervention.

When Ritchie discovers his driver’s license is expired, he realizes he’s driving without a valid license. Cash attempts to let him off with just a warning, but Alf insists he be fined as legally required.

Now that Alf can no longer act independently, he tells Roo he’s making a doctor’s appointment to try and get his license reinstated. However, Roo doesn’t know that Alf secretly intends to skip the appointment.

Why is he so reluctant to see his GP? Could Alf be unwell?
