New Assassin’s Creed Report Reveals Hexe Release Month

A recent report reveals the expected release timeframe for the next major Assassin’s Creed game, currently known as Codename Hexe. Before that, Ubisoft plans to release Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced, a remake of the popular 2013 title Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. Ubisoft intends to create several remakes, but this doesn’t mean they’ll stop making entirely new Assassin’s Creed games. We now have a clearer idea of when to expect the next big step forward for the series.

New information about the upcoming game Assassin’s Creed Hexe has surfaced, according to Insider Gaming. Ubisoft is currently aiming to release the game in June 2027, though they are considering pushing the launch date back to the end of the year. Despite potential delays, Hexe is still expected to arrive next year and will be the first major new Assassin’s Creed title since Assassin’s Creed Shadows came out in 2025.

Ubisoft hasn’t revealed much about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Hexe. The game was first teased in 2022, confirming its setting and time period, but we haven’t seen anything more since then, leaving fans with many questions. Rumors suggest Hexe will feature a female lead and focus more on horror than previous Assassin’s Creed games. Set during the European witch trials, the game is also expected to include magical elements, though Insider Gaming reports these will be realistic and subtle.

If Assassin’s Creed Hexe is released as currently expected in June 2027, Ubisoft will likely start sharing information about the game soon. As soon as we learn more about Hexe or the Assassin’s Creed series, we’ll share the latest updates here on ComicBook.
