Euphoria Actress Responds to Rumors of Cast Feud

It sounds like the set of Euphoria was pure bliss.

Jessica Blair Herman, who appeared in season three of the show, recently addressed rumors of conflict among the cast, stating that everyone actually got along well.

Jessica confirmed it on the April 27th episode of Good Day NY when speaking with Rosanna Scotto, and she emphasized that she was being genuine.

The 39-year-old actor, who plays a critical neighbor to the characters played by Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi, also said reports of a disagreement between Sydney and her co-star Zendaya are false.

Jessica explained that everything went smoothly. She said they’ve built a great working environment where everyone is eager and willing to contribute.

However, she admitted that Zendaya’s Rue and Sydney’s Cassie don’t interact much onscreen.

She explained that when she worked on the show, the actors weren’t filming together much. Their characters had different storylines and were usually filmed on separate days.

As for Jessica’s experience working alongside Sydney on the Sam Levinson show?

She said it was a wonderful experience. She felt fortunate to have worked with Sam, calling it a dream, and was especially thrilled to share her first scene with Sydney, describing her as kind and open.

Even when Sydney performs challenging scenes, Jessica notes that she comes across as genuinely kind, sensitive, and open-hearted. Jessica considers Sydney a true artist and feels fortunate to have acted alongside her.

In March, just weeks before the new season began, the show’s composer, Labrinth, unexpectedly announced he was leaving the project. He later hinted that he’d had disagreements with the show’s creative team.

He posted on Instagram on April 11th that dishonesty is common in the industry, but he still considers those people honest. He said, because of this, he decided to pull his music from a project and confirmed he’d spoken with HBO and they were on good terms, according to screenshots shared by Deadline.

The Emmy-winning actor explained that they left their previous job because, ultimately, they prioritize supporting the vision of whoever they work for. However, they also emphasized that they won’t tolerate being mistreated.

TopMob News previously reached out to HBO and Sam for comment but did not hear back.
