4 Emmerdale spoilers for next week

1. Paddy Dingle, Dylan Penders and Bear Wolf face the courtroom

As the trial began, everyone was on edge. Paddy and Dylan had a touching, private moment together before going in, and April was extremely anxious about having to testify.

Marlon tried to calm her, encouraging her to be strong and honestly tell the jury about the abuse Ray inflicted upon her.

The trial began with the prosecution and defense presenting their arguments to the judge, jury, and a full courtroom. For Bear, being forced to recall the events surrounding Ray’s death and everything that occurred on the farm was deeply upsetting.

April tries to remain composed while testifying, but the intense questioning during cross-examination overwhelms her, leaving her deeply upset and distressed.

Now it’s Dylan’s chance to speak for the defense, explaining how Bear rescued him and Paddy from Ray. However, he’s about to be questioned closely, so will he be able to handle the pressure?

Afterward, a very upset April went to the hallway, feeling like she had disappointed everyone. However, Marlon immediately comforted her, telling her how brave she had been during a difficult situation.

When Simo testified in court, Bear became increasingly distressed. The hearing was eventually paused due to the rising tension. Afterwards, Zara explained they were quickly running out of choices, and their best chance might be to have Bear testify as well.

Paddy reluctantly agrees, but serious doubts remain over whether Bear is strong enough to face it.

The next day, the family arrived at court, anxious about what would happen. They felt a little better when Bear’s lawyer gave a strong and convincing explanation of how Ray had manipulated and frightened Bear, leaving him living in fear.

With his family and friends present, Bear Wolf hesitantly took the stand, prepared to share his account of what happened.

But when Jacob follows her into the women’s restroom, he immediately realizes he’s fallen into a setup. Vanessa showing up only makes the situation worse, leaving Jacob in a very awkward and damaging position.

Vanessa is confused by Jacob’s actions, and Sarah insists he explain what’s going on. Finally, Jacob shares what happened, admitting Todd has been harassing and bullying him. Sarah immediately offers comfort and promises they’ll deal with it as a team.

The next day, Sarah noticed how deeply the situation was bothering him and urged him to defend himself. She was determined to resolve the issue, so she later confronted Vanessa about consistently supporting Todd.

At Hotten General, Jacob tries to regain control by filing a formal complaint with HR, but he’s shocked to learn Todd already did – and went further. Carol reveals Todd provided HR with a comprehensive file of evidence, including audio recordings.

Jacob felt defeated, believing he couldn’t compete with his experienced coworker. He later told Sarah that someone was creating a false case against him.
