William Shatner Says Space Isn’t the Final Frontier, But Rather This

Captain Kirk always described space as the final frontier—where no man has gone before.

Sixty years after the starship Enterprise first set out to discover new worlds in Star Trek, William Shatner revealed a surprising perspective on the show’s famous line.

The actor told TopMob News in an exclusive interview that nothing is truly permanent. ‘Death is the ultimate limit,’ he said, ‘but even that might not be absolute.’

He went on to explain that quantum physics suggests we might not simply vanish when we die. Instead, our energy could return to its source.

What William Shatner, now 95, thinks about space exploration isn’t the only thing that’s evolved over the past six decades. He once believed his own contributions were the key to the success of the sci-fi series, but now he understands the true ingredients that made it a cultural phenomenon.

He highlighted the strength of the production, pointing to a talented cast and skilled writers. They’re working with compelling storylines and impressive sets to create stories that are both relatable and forward-looking.

He explained that Star Trek is set around 400 years in the future, imagining a world where humanity still exists and enjoys advanced technology for space travel. In this vision, people don’t experience death and generally live peaceful, happy lives.

Something that hasn’t changed for the Boston Legal alum? How alive he feels.

He said he was feeling energized, focused, and fantastic. When he hears the number 95, he’s confused and wonders who it refers to, admitting he has no idea what being 95 years old feels like.

William Shatner maintains his health through a straightforward lifestyle. He rarely drinks alcohol and doesn’t smoke at all.

He partners with LifeWave, a health technology company founded by David Schmidt, which uses special patches with light therapy to boost overall wellness.

William Shatner appeared in a popular online short film called The World’s Oldest Intern as part of a deal with the company.

As a longtime fan, I was thrilled to hear William Shatner talk about LifeWave and the amazing film they created! He mentioned that David and the team at LifeWave, recognizing its success, wisely decided to build on that momentum and create two more – which is fantastic news for all of us who appreciate their work.

While everyone anticipates seeing William Shatner, Jeri Ryan, and Jonathan Frakes in the next installments of The World’s Oldest Intern, here are some other movies worth checking out.
