I was so excited to hear Death in Paradise is coming back for two more seasons! Now, everyone’s attention is turning to Beyond Paradise – I can’t wait to see what happens with that show next!

As a big fan, I was watching the season finale of the Kris Marshall show tonight, and while some storylines definitely finished, it’s clear there’s still a lot more to tell. The cast seem really keen to come back, which is fantastic news for those of us who love it!

Zahra Ahmadi shared with TopMob in early March that she and the team really enjoy making the show, and fans they meet consistently express their love for it. She jokingly added that, naturally, people who dislike the show wouldn’t be likely to tell her so.

She went on to explain that when people approach her about the show, it’s more than just casual conversation. They often express deep emotion, and she can tell it truly resonates with them. Everyone has those special shows that touch their hearts and bring them comfort.

I really hope it continues, but we’re still waiting to find out. Everyone’s keeping their fingers crossed!

Has Beyond Paradise been renewed for season 5?

TV Zone recently said everything seems ready for another season, but the BBC hasn’t officially confirmed whether “Beyond Paradise” will be back.

We didn’t get confirmation about season 4 until July, but season 3 was renewed right after the season 2 finale. So, an announcement could happen soon, or it might take a while longer.

When could Beyond Paradise season 5 be released?

I’m really hoping it gets confirmed, but if it does, we’re likely looking at another Christmas special this year! Then, once Death in Paradise season 16 finishes – they’re aiming for February or March 2027 – we should get even more episodes. I can’t wait!

Who could return for a potential Beyond Paradise season 5?

In addition to Kris Marshall, who plays DI Humphrey Goodman, and Sally Bretton as Martha Lloyd, we anticipate the return of several other familiar actors.

It’s still uncertain if Kelby’s girlfriend, Agnieszka, played by Hazel Caulfield, will be back, but Mr. Smith, portrayed by Vincent Franklin, has definitely died.

And as is tradition, there will be a whole raft of new guest stars to shake up proceedings.

What could happen in Beyond Paradise season 5?

Now that the villainous Mr. Smith has been defeated, Humphrey will be back to work as a Detective Inspector. However, we’ll have to wait and see what happens with his personal life.

They recently purchased a house with Martha, and it’s already needed some work, like a new roof. Now, after a break from fostering, are they planning to expand their family?

Kelby and Esther are both happily in relationships, but it’s unclear how things will be between them when we see them again.
