Princess Eugenie Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 3 With Jack Brooksbank

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have grand news to share.

Princess Eugenie and her husband are expecting their third child, she shared. The couple are already parents to August, 5, and Ernest, 2.

Princess Eugenie announced on Instagram that she and Jack Brooksbank are expecting another baby in 2026. She shared a sweet photo of their two children with the ultrasound image.

The couple shared the news just under three years after having their second child. When their son, Ernest, was born, Eugenie also explained the story behind his full name.

Jack and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our son, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, born on May 30th, 2023, at 8:49 AM, weighing 7.1 pounds. We named him after his great-great-great grandfather George, his grandfather George, and my grandfather Ronald. Our older son, Augie, is already enjoying his role as a big brother!

Eugenie has generally kept her children’s lives private, but she once mentioned hoping her eldest son, August, would share some qualities with his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

In a June 2022 article for The Spectator, Princess Eugenie shared her thoughts on her grandmother, reflecting on the impact she’s had on so many, including their family, over the past 70 years. She expressed her hope that her son, August, would inherit her grandmother’s patience, calm demeanor, and kindness, along with a good sense of humor and a joyful spirit.

The royal also later noted how parenthood has impacted her and Jack’s outlook on life.

Speaking to Reuters about her newborn in 2023, the mother said she feels her son will be passionate about making a difference from a very young age. She explained that all their current choices are now made with their son, August, in mind – considering his future experiences and how he will live his life.

And the sentiment is the same for their younger son, who Eugenie has called their “darling Ernie.”

She shared a sweet photo of Ernest on Instagram in May 2025, writing, “These past two years have been amazing! He’s always smiling, laughing, and spreading joy with hugs and greetings. We love our sweet boy!”
