Now that Invincible VS is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, players are eager to find out which characters will be added to the game as downloadable content (DLC). The developers, Quarter Up, have already announced Universa and The Immortal, but a reliable fighting game insider, MultiverSusie, has shared a potential list of even more characters coming soon.
The character list includes the Mauler Twins, Agent Spider, Damien Darkblood, Oliver, Angstrom, Dinosaurus, and Volcanikka. A video showing possible voice recordings for these characters was also released. Many fans would likely be excited about Agent Spider joining the Invincible VS game, as this version of the character in the Amazon animated series is heavily inspired by the popular Marvel superhero Spider-Man. You can hear the potential voice lines for Agent Spider around the 1:30 point in the video.
To make things even more interesting, we can hear Omni-Man talking to Agent Spider, and he mentions the actor who plays Agent Spider – J.K. Simmons from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies – calling him “a public menace.”
Until Quarter Up officially confirms these characters, this information should be considered unconfirmed. So far, the studio has only announced that Universa and The Immortal will be released in Summer 2026, with two additional characters from the Year 1 pass planned for Fall and Winter 2026.
Quarter Up and Skybound Games released a new trailer to celebrate the launch of Invincible VS. The trailer highlights the game’s intense and action-packed combat, featuring characters like Dupli-Kate and Allen the Alien.
Before the game launched, Quarter Up shared a trailer offering a glimpse into the single-player story mode. The story centers on Omni-Man returning to Earth with his Viltrumite companions to continue his plans for conquest. The trailer begins with a confrontation between Invincible and Omni-Man, then quickly showcases other characters battling it out.
MultiverSusie, a source known for revealing information about superhero fighting games, recently suggested that NetherRealm Studios might be changing the name of their upcoming DC Comics fighting game. While the game will still feature DC superheroes, it may not be called Injustice.
Honestly, a new Injustice game would be awesome, it’s been almost ten years since the last one! But I get why NetherRealm might want to switch things up. They’re working on this Absolute Universe comic series, and it sounds really cool – like a darker, reimagined take on all our favorite DC characters. It makes sense they’d want to focus on that too.
I still remember when the first Injustice: Gods Among Us game came out in 2013! It was on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, and the story was wild – basically, the Joker and Harley Quinn managed to turn Superman evil, and Batman had to call in heroes from other realities to try and stop him. Then, in 2017, Injustice 2 came along and built on that story even more, adding a ton of new characters. That one was on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Both games were also surprisingly great on mobile – you could play them on Android and iOS too!
Are you having fun playing Invincible VS? We’re planning to add even more characters soon, including Immortal, Universa, the Mauler Twins, Agent Spider, Damien Darkblood, Oliver, Angstrom, Dinosaurus, and Volcanikka. We hope you’ll enjoy these additions!
