Kakehashi Games, working with the two-person development team at Serial Project (which includes former employees of LEVEL-5), has launched a temporary demo for their roguelike deckbuilding game, Serial World, on PC through Steam as part of the Steam Deckbuilders Fest. The demo is available to play until May 11th.
Here is an overview of the game, via Kakehashi Games:
In the vibrant, cartoon world of Serial World, inspired by classic RPGs, young Milo investigates strange disappearances in his town, Bricktown. This preview lets players explore a randomly generated dungeon with three beginner Anima companions – Porcupint, Tanibo, and Reptibud – each with their own distinct personalities and abilities.
Enjoy strategic, turn-based battles where you create a unique deck to defeat enemies and find your way out—and uncover the truth—in this exciting deckbuilding adventure that’s fun for everyone!
Serial World is due out for PC via Steam in 2026.
