It confirms several developing romantic relationships from the past ten years, though it doesn’t quite deliver on the biggest romance fans were hoping for.

The series concludes with Noelle and Mimosa still holding back their feelings for Asta. They admit they were waiting for Asta’s duties as Wizard King to calm down before making a move, and now a competitive dynamic begins between them. However, many fans are disappointed with this outcome, especially considering other characters have already found love and started families. The lack of progress for both Noelle and Asta feels particularly unsatisfying.

What Does This Mean for Asta?

The final story arc of Black Clover started with Asta revealing his feelings to Sister Lily, who didn’t reciprocate.
