We were surprised and excited to learn that Pokémon is partnering with the National Trust to offer a special event at several locations across the UK during the May half-term break.
As a huge Pokémon fan, I’m used to seeing them team up with other brands – it’s a massive franchise, after all! But honestly, this latest collaboration completely caught me off guard. I never would have predicted this particular pairing!
Pokémon has recently partnered with places like the National History Museum and McDonald’s – it seems like a great way to bring Pokémon to new locations! But right now, let’s talk about their exciting collaboration with the National Trust. Here are all the important details.
When is the Pokémon National Trust collab?
A special Pokémon and National Trust collaboration will begin on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 14 National Trust locations across the UK.
When these events happen will depend on local school half-term breaks, and each location’s specific opening times will also be a factor.
We suggest locating a nearby venue offering the Pokémon event, confirming their hours, and visiting during half-term to have some fun!

What is the Pokémon National Trust collab?
If you enjoy walking outdoors, you’re in luck! The Pokémon Company is creating ‘Mega Evolution Trails’ at 14 different parks and locations, inspired by the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
According to the official announcement, these trails are designed to be a fun way for families to gain confidence in the outdoors, get some fresh air, and make lasting memories while looking for ten Mega Evolution Pokémon at various points along the way.
The trail continues with challenges at each point. These challenges are designed to be either physically active or creatively stimulating, and they’re all based on the different forms Pokémon take when they Mega Evolve.
Whether you’re bravely exploring with Darkness-type Mega Gengar ex or igniting your creativity with the fiery Mega Charizard Y ex, these adventures combine fun, imaginative play with light exercise.
A trail sheet will help new Pokémon trainers document what they find. Once they’ve completed the trail, everyone can take a celebratory photo in front of a special Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution backdrop.
