Next week, on May 13th, 2026, Sony will reveal the games coming to PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium in May 2026, with plans to release them on May 19th. However, a previous State of Play livestream already hinted at the classic game that will be included, so it won’t be a surprise announcement.
You might have already forgotten, but just a reminder: the classic light gun shooter Time Crisis is coming to PlayStation Plus Premium in May 2026.
For quite a while now, Sony has been adding only one game each month to the PS Plus Premium subscription. So, it’s likely that Time Crisis will be the only game offered for May 2026. The complete list of games will be announced next week on May 13th, and subscribers who have an active membership will be able to play them starting the following Tuesday.
The PS5 and PS4 versions of Time Crisis will stay true to the original game’s feel by using the motion controls on the DualSense and DualShock 4 controllers, letting you aim like you would with a light gun. It’s a classic game from the original PlayStation, and it will be great to revisit that light gun experience after nearly thirty years.
The game will be available to buy separately on the PlayStation Store, in addition to being included with the PS Plus Premium subscription. Sony will share all the official details when the full announcement is made next week.
