Blake Shelton Addresses Missing Gwen Stefani’s Residency Opening Night

Okay, so here’s the scoop – Blake Shelton had a bit of a scheduling conflict! He unfortunately couldn’t be at Gwen Stefani’s Las Vegas residency opening night at the Sphere because he was already committed to a performance at Caesars Palace at the same time. It’s a tough spot when you’re juggling so much, but I’m sure Gwen understood! It just shows how busy they both are with their careers.

During his May 6th performance, Blake pointed out that his ex was at a different venue and angrily questioned why anyone would schedule them to perform on the same night repeatedly, using an offensive term to describe the person responsible. The moment was captured in a video shared on social media by @JPASC24.

To which the 49-year-old joked, “I think my manager did that, didn’t he?”

Although Blake wasn’t able to be with his wife after almost five years of marriage, they’ve consistently shown their commitment to each other. He recently addressed and dismissed rumors that they were getting divorced.

Blake said he first began seeing rumors about a split between him and Gwen in either October or November. He recalled reading articles and hearing reports that they weren’t even seeing each other and were heading for divorce, as he shared in a January interview with Country Countdown USA.

He went on to explain that a week later, a photo surfaced of them leaving a grocery store, leading to rumors they had reconciled.

Considering his on-again, off-again relationship with Gwen—who shares three sons, Kingston (19), Zuma (17), and Apollo (12), with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale—the singer says it’s best to ignore the negativity and drama.

He said he doesn’t trust anything he sees online anymore. He emphasized that he truly believes nothing he finds on the internet.

Gwen said their strong relationship helps them avoid being affected by rumors they see online.

You know, I’ve always said that when you find a love built on a real foundation of shared values, it’s incredibly powerful. I shared this recently, and it really resonated – when you’re truly aligned with someone, outside opinions just don’t stick. People can say whatever they want about your relationship, but it doesn’t touch what you have.

As she put it, “The truth is the truth, and we know what that is.”
