Golf Channel executive Tom Knapp explained that Wells, who is a huge golf enthusiast, is an ideal co-host for Blair on the new season of Big Break. Knapp highlighted Wells’ experience with reality TV and his engaging golf discussions on Golf Channel’s The Vanity Index, calling him a unique talent for the show.
He’s a great match for the Good Good Golf audience, and we’re thrilled to welcome Wells to the Big Break team, he added.
The popular golf competition series Big Break is returning to television after 11 years, and Golf Channel recently announced that professional golfer Charlie Wells will be joining the show. This news comes just six months after the revival was first announced as Big Break x Good Good Presented by Golf Galaxy.
The groundbreaking sports competition show originally ran for 23 seasons from 2003 to 2015.
The twenty-fourth season, launching in August, will be filmed at the beautiful Horseshoe Bay Resort in Texas, a resort known for its awards and quality.

Each episode features talented golfers competing in different challenges across the entire course, like the fan favorites “Glass Break” and “Flop Wall.”
For years, Big Break has helped up-and-coming golfers by giving them the chance to play in certain professional golf tournaments. The winner of Big Break x Good Good Presented by Golf Galaxy will earn a spot in the PGA Tour’s Good Good Championship in November 2026.
Tune in when Big Break x Good Good Presented by Golf Galaxy premieres this August on Golf Channel.
In the meantime, fans can watch their favorite past seasons of Big Break now on GolfPass.
