All 8 MCU Movies Releasing After Daredevil: Born Again Season 2

Now that season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again has finished, Marvel fans have several exciting movie projects to anticipate. The show continued the story of Daredevil and Kingpin, adding new characters and storylines to the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe. Daredevil: Born Again especially sets the stage for future adventures focusing on the MCU’s more grounded, street-level heroes. Because Marvel often announces projects in advance, we already have a good idea of what’s coming to theaters and streaming soon.

Now that season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again has finished, a lot of new Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies are planned for the near future. As the Multiverse Saga heads towards its big finale, several exciting projects are coming out soon, and even more are currently being made. The future of the MCU looks promising, and these confirmed movies will all add to the ongoing story when they’re released.

8) Spider-Man: Brand New Day

As a huge Marvel fan, I’m incredibly excited for Spider-Man: Brand New Day – it’s easily one of the most anticipated movies they’ve announced! From what I understand, the story will continue directly after the events of No Way Home, and it sounds like they’re bringing in some really cool characters from across the MCU, like the Hulk and even the Punisher! It’s currently scheduled to hit theaters on July 31, 2026, and I truly believe it’s going to launch Spider-Man into a fantastic new phase within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

7) Avengers: Doomsday

Several trailers for the new Marvel movie, Avengers: Doomsday, have generated a lot of excitement. As the first Avengers film since 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, Doomsday will introduce the classic villain Doctor Doom and bring together heroes from throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This highly anticipated film is the first part of a two-part finale to the Multiverse Saga and is scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, where it’s expected to be a huge hit.

6) Avengers: Secret Wars

Marvel Studios has confirmed that Avengers: Secret Wars will be a direct follow-up to Doomsday and will conclude the current Multiverse Saga in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Though details about the plot are still under wraps until Doomsday is released, the film is expected to be based on the popular Marvel Comics series Secret Wars, but with a unique MCU twist. Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2027.

5) Shang-Chi 2

The 2021 film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was a big hit, and audiences loved the main character. While a follow-up movie was quickly announced, it hasn’t been released yet, and there’s no confirmed date for it. However, Marvel has confirmed that a Shang-Chi sequel is still being developed, and it looks like it will come out after the current Multiverse Saga is finished.

4) Untitled X-Men Movie

While we don’t have a specific release date yet, the new X-Men movie is definitely happening, and that’s enough to make it one of the most exciting projects Marvel Studios is working on. After the current Multiverse Saga ends, Marvel will be introducing its own version of the X-Men, bringing these iconic mutant characters to life. Fans are incredibly eager to see this movie become a reality, and it’s already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated films in the franchise’s history.

3) Armor Wars

Originally planned as a Disney+ series, Armor Wars is now becoming a full-length movie. The project has been in development since 2020, and while a release date hasn’t been announced yet, we know some details. Yassir Lester is writing the screenplay, Don Cheadle will reprise his role as War Machine, and the story will center on James Rhodes trying to retrieve stolen Stark technology from dangerous individuals.

2) Black Panther 3

A third Black Panther movie is officially planned, with Ryan Coogler returning as director. While details are scarce, reports suggest Denzel Washington is being considered for a role. Currently, the expected release date is 2028, and fans are already looking forward to it as a major Marvel Cinematic Universe film. Not much else is known about the project at this time.

1) Blade

Despite facing delays, the Marvel movie Blade is still being made. Mahershala Ali will star as the vampire hunter Blade, and Mia Goth will play Lilith. The film has gone through several director changes during its early stages. While there’s no confirmed release date yet, Blade remains a highly anticipated addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
