007 First Light’s Full PC Requirements Revealed, Path Tracing and Ray Reconstruction Out This Summer

IO Interactive has now revealed the full PC system requirements for their game, 007 First Light, including minimum, recommended, and two new ‘Enthusiast’ options. These Enthusiast settings allow players to experience the game at 1440p/60 FPS and 4K/60 FPS, both with High graphics settings.

The CPU and RAM needs haven’t changed, but the recommended graphics cards have. For a great experience, you’ll need at least an RTX 4070 or Radeon RX 7800 XT. If you’re aiming for the highest settings, an RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX is recommended. To max out the game at 4K resolution with Ultra settings, you’ll need a Core i5-13600K or Ryzen 7 7700X processor, an RTX 5080 graphics card, and 32 GB of RAM.

As a huge fan, I’m really excited that Nvidia DLSS 4.5 is available right away with both Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution! It’s a little weird that it’s not turned on for the lower-end setups – the ones with less powerful hardware could really benefit from the performance boost on those settings. But if you’re aiming for the Ultra settings, it looks like you need it, and it can push your frame rates over 200 FPS! That’s incredible.

The PC version offers smooth, unlimited frame rates and plenty of ways to customize your experience. Advanced features like path tracing and DLSS ray reconstruction will be added this summer. The game also includes a range of accessibility options, such as personalized audio settings, adjustable subtitles, customizable controls, sensitivity and deadzone adjustments, narrated menus, and an option to automatically complete quick-time events.

The new James Bond game, 007 First Light, will be released on May 27th for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. A version for the Nintendo Switch 2 is planned to follow later this summer.
