Suzuki, the creator of ‘SAKAMOTO DAYS,’ shared a message expressing his happiness with the movie’s positive reception. He was especially encouraged by hearing from new fans and thanked everyone involved in the film. He also explained that he channeled the excitement of the movie’s climax when creating a special sketch for fans.

Sakamoto Days has been a hit, and everyone’s eagerly awaiting news about the second season of the anime, though there’s no official confirmation just yet.

A second season of Sakamoto Days is planned, following the conclusion of the first, but a release date hasn’t been announced yet. You can currently watch the first season on Netflix, which will also stream the new season when it’s available. Sadly, there are currently no plans to release the live-action movie outside of Japan.
