Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) is reeling in EastEnders after discovering someone has stolen her identity.
A few months back, Bea Pollard (played by Ronni Ancona) and Honey formed an unexpected friendship after meeting at a school reunion hosted by Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).
When the Mitchells went on vacation to Cornwall, Bea offered to look after their house. She hoped it would improve her strained relationship with Linda, and it would also give Honey peace of mind knowing someone was watching her house while it was being renovated.
Living in London was expensive, and Bea quickly found herself needing more money. She ended up applying for a credit card using her friend Honey’s name, Susan. At first, she didn’t want to use the credit, but she changed her mind when she learned Honey was having a tough time dealing with menopause symptoms.
She spent a lot of money – thousands, in fact – on a consultation with a Harley Street specialist, and continued to enjoy expensive clothes and meals.

Honey appreciated Bea’s help, but it quickly became obvious that Bea was overstaying her visit. Trying to prolong her stay, Bea faked a robbery at McKlunkys and told Will Mitchell (Freddie Phillips) she felt unsafe.
Today on the show, Honey turned to Ian Beale—now a local councillor—for help. She’s been getting suspicious letters linked to an old credit card account and asked Ian to investigate where they’re coming from.
Bea was startled and instantly pretended she didn’t recognize her own name, claiming she wasn’t Susan. Meanwhile, Ian hurried away, preoccupied with his recent appointment to the council.
Later that day at the café, Bea happily showed off a copy of the Walford Gazette, which reported on how well her campaign had gone. The paper featured a photo of her and Ian, with a headline calling them “Mr. and Mrs. Beale.”
He was happy with how the story was reported, but he didn’t notice they’d written that she was his wife. It wasn’t until his ex-wife, Cindy, showed him the paper that he understood what had happened. He was upset and started to see that she was deliberately trying to take over his life.
A heated fight broke out when he discovered she’d bought followers to make his social media presence seem bigger. He told her she should concentrate on getting her own life back on track instead of relying on others. She became extremely angry and forcibly removed him from the house.

Honey talked to her husband, Billy, about Bea starting a new chapter. She then found the courage to speak to Bea directly. Bea surprisingly revealed she’d been planning to move in with Ian, but had broken up with him, leaving her in a difficult situation.
Ian discovered some invoices across the street, addressed to Honey, that showed she’d been billed for the fake followers Bea had bought for him. It suddenly clicked – Honey was being scammed.
Wasting no time, he charged over to the Mitchell residence and revealed the truth.
How will Bea explain this one?
