Directive 8020 is Now Available to Pre-Load, Global Release Timings Revealed

People are starting to share their thoughts on Directive 8020, the newest game in The Dark Pictures Anthology series. You can now download it on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game will be available worldwide starting May 12th at 7 AM Pacific Time.

In Directive 8020, you control five different characters aboard the colony ship Cassiopeia after it crash-lands on the planet Tau Ceti f. The crew wakes up to find a dangerous, shape-shifting creature hunting them. This organism can copy anyone on board, so you’ll have to figure out who is still human and make choices that impact the fate of those in cryo-sleep.

Compared to previous games, Directive 8020 has more action and stealth elements. It also introduces new ways to experience the story, like ‘Turning Points.’ These let you rewind to important choices and try a different approach – which is especially helpful if a character you like gets killed (and believe me, they can!).
