ITV bosses have issued a major announcement about the future of The 1% Club with Lee Mack.
The popular, award-winning game show will continue on Saturday nights for three more years, promising even more special episodes, larger jackpot rollovers, and plenty of appearances by Lee Mack.
The show pits 100 contestants against each other with increasingly challenging logic puzzles. The final question is designed to be exceptionally difficult, solvable by only about 1% of the population.
Lee Mack, the show’s host, expressed his happiness about the new three-year agreement with ITV, saying he was ‘delighted’.
I’m thrilled ITV has commissioned three more seasons of the show, letting us find more brilliant people. I was just calculating how old I’ll be when the new seasons finish, but I made a mistake! It just proves I wouldn’t be very good as a contestant myself, I think,” he said with a laugh.

The 1% Club rapidly rose to become the most popular new quiz show in over ten years, consistently attracting over five million viewers per episode.
I have to say, this show really blew up! Since its debut in 2022, it’s been streamed over 60 million times and seen by more than 43 million people worldwide – a definite global success story.
As a critic, I’ve been watching ‘The 1% Club’ become a real phenomenon, and it’s no surprise ITV is extending it for another three years. Sue Murphy, who heads up factual entertainment at the network, confirmed the renewal, and she’s right – this show genuinely appeals to everyone, regardless of age. It’s become a huge hit, and I expect that to continue.
We’re excited to continue creating series and specials with Lee leading the way. The show is a fantastic and unique entertainment experience that viewers enjoy participating in, and it’s a really important addition to our ITV programming.
Dean Nabarro and Andy Auerbach, the creators and executive producers of The 1% Club, expressed their excitement about ITV renewing the show for three more years. They’re thrilled that even more people will now have the opportunity to compete and potentially join The 1% Club.

Last December, a new version of the show, called The 1% Club Rollover, was announced. It used the same format as the original, but with a twist: if no one won the money, it would increase and carry over to the next show. This meant a potential prize of £500,000 could be up for grabs on the final episode.
Here’s a surprising detail: if a contestant answered the extremely difficult final question – the one only 1% of people could solve – they’d automatically return to compete on the next show. This meant they had another chance to win the prize money, potentially increasing their total winnings significantly.
ITV announced it’s renewing its programming for another three years and will be bringing back popular shows. Expect new episodes of The 1% Club Rollover later this year, and a special kids’ edition, The 1% Club Kids Special, later this month.
The 1% Club is a highly acclaimed quiz show, winning multiple awards including three consecutive National TV Awards for best quiz, two Broadcast Awards for best entertainment program, and a Rose d’Or for best entertainment show.
Lee Mack has been nominated for a BAFTA award twice for his work in entertainment, but he lost to Bob Mortimer (for ‘Last One Laughing’) at the 2026 TV Awards.
