Alix Earle Addresses Alex Cooper Drama During Live TV Appearance

Alix Earle was put on the spot. 

Following Alex Cooper’s comments about a TikToker’s seemingly indirect behavior on social media, Craig Melvin from Today asked Alix Earle about the situation while they were both on air.

During an appearance on May 12th, the 25-year-old, celebrating her recent cover on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, explained she was focusing on staying positive. She said, ‘Why bring down a good day with negativity?’

When Craig questioned whether the situation was blown out of proportion, the 25-year-old admitted it was, but added that they have affection for everyone involved.

Talk of a possible feud between them started when the former TikTok star suddenly left Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network in February 2025, after they had collaborated for two years.

Although Alix hasn’t publicly explained what happened, she did reply when Alex spoke out about the situation.

Under Alex’s initial video—where she encouraged Alix to come forward with the exact reasons behind what’s bothering her—the 25-year-old wrote, “Okay on it!!” 

One day later, she shared her live reaction to Alex’s post in a video her friends took. 

Alix shared a TikTok from April 14th explaining this is how she woke up the day after Coachella, and thanked her friends for filming it because they knew she’d appreciate the memory.

After seeing the podcast host’s entire post, Alix shared in a video of her own that it really brightened her day.

Meanwhile, the situation was more serious on Alex’s end.

She explained in a TikTok posted on April 13th that she usually avoids responding to this kind of drama because she finds it pointless and humiliating. However, she’s been seeing the videos, tags, and direct messages, and feels like she needs to finally address it.

The 31-year-old criticized what she saw as a false story Alix was building online through her activity – reposting, liking, and commenting – and explained she felt pressured to publicly address their conflict.

Alex pressed on, saying, “You need to be direct and tell me exactly what you’re upset about. There’s no agreement preventing you from speaking freely, and no one is silencing you. Stop talking through others – just tell me yourself what the problem is.”

Alex suggested the former Dancing With the Stars contestant was deliberately causing drama to improve her public image.

I’m tired of you creating unnecessary drama to avoid dealing with what’s really going on. I’m not falling for it. We both know the truth, so let’s just talk about it.

Netflix and the production team held extensive auditions. I didn’t recommend my friend for the role, but they ultimately landed it because they were the most qualified. I also want to clarify that I didn’t help them get the job by having another candidate removed from consideration, as he explained in an Instagram post.

During a September 2023 game of “Stir the Pot” with her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, on TopMob News, Sharon Osbourne described actor Danny Masterson, known from “That ’70s Show,” as the rudest celebrity she’d ever encountered. She called him a “rude little boy” and a “dastardly little thing.”

He did not respond to her remarks publicly.

Five years ago, Sharon shared with Larry King that Ashton seemed annoyed when he was a guest on The Talk in 2014, after she mispronounced his name.

She remembered him asking, ‘Who are you and what have you accomplished in this business?’ Her response was blunt: ‘Listen, young man, don’t challenge me, because I’ll completely destroy you.’ She essentially told him, ‘You have no idea who you’re messing with.’

I was really shocked last August when Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris publicly disagreed with Brittany Aldean, Jason Aldean’s wife. It all started when Brittany posted a video on Instagram showing her putting on makeup. The caption really bothered a lot of people, including me, because she thanked her parents for not letting her explore a different gender identity when she was younger, and said she loved being ‘girly.’ It just felt really insensitive and sparked a lot of conversation.

In a 2022 TikTok trend, JoJo Siwa called Candace Cameron Bure the “rudest” celebrity she’d met, explaining that Bure had once refused to pose for a photo with her at a red carpet event. Soon after, Cameron Bure apologized, saying she regretted hurting Siwa’s feelings when she was eleven and admitting, “I feel terrible about not taking a picture with you, JoJo, and I’m really sorry.”

Candace and the other person resolved their differences. However, when asked months later if her network, Great American Family, would ever feature same-sex couples as the main characters in its holiday movies, she said it wouldn’t. She explained that the network would continue to focus on traditional marriage.

JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, responded to the actress’ comment on Instagram, calling it “rude and hurtful to an entire community.”

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed that Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art for her band Hole in a promotional photo without giving proper credit. Olivia responded with a simple message of support, saying, “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, thanking Olivia and offering to share the contact information for her favorite florist in London, hinting that she expected a thank-you note in return.

Winkler and Hanks’ dog seemed to get along very well. “I really loved that dog,” Winkler said.

Those who watched The Hills likely recall Lauren’s famous line from the start of season three. The drama between her and Heidi began when Heidi started dating Spencer Pratt, and it escalated when Lauren claimed Heidi and Spencer spread a false rumor about her and her then-boyfriend, Jason Wahler, involving a sex tape.

Tyrese and Dwayne Johnson had a public falling out in 2017 after the release date for Fast & Furious 9 was delayed until April 2020. Tyrese voiced his frustrations with Dwayne on Instagram. Interestingly, on the same day, a spin-off movie featuring Dwayne and Jason Statham was announced, slated for release in 2019. The following month, Tyrese even threatened to leave Fast 9 if Dwayne remained involved.

Okay, so Tyrese finally talked about everything with The Rock! He was on Van Lathan’s podcast, The Red Pill, and he said, and I quote, he still hasn’t spoken to Dwayne directly – can you believe it?! He said they will talk eventually, though. He did mention he chatted with one of The Rock’s producers, but not the man himself. It’s just… everything is so complicated, and I’m just dying to know what’s going on between them! I need answers!

Tyrese admitted he shouldn’t have publicly shared frustrations he heard from others connected to the franchise. He explained he was the one who spoke out, and he takes responsibility for that, saying it wasn’t professional or a good look.

No more bad blood here.

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry were famously feuding for several years, with some believing the conflict fueled Swift’s song “Bad Blood.” The disagreement, which began with issues over a dancer and competition during concert tours, ended when Perry sent Swift an olive branch as a peace offering before Swift’s Reputation Tour began.

Taylor shared on Instagram that she found a real olive branch in her dressing room, saying it meant a lot to her.

For years, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, stars of Sex and the City, successfully dismissed rumors of a disagreement. However, those rumors resurfaced when Kim chose not to participate in a third movie and later made comments about her co-star that many found surprising.

I remember being shocked when I heard about Kim Cattrall telling Piers Morgan they weren’t actually friends, just coworkers. Andy Cohen brought it up on Watch What Happens Live back in September 2017, asking SJP directly how she felt about it, and it was a really tough moment to watch.

She said she was just devastated. They had talked about it all week, and she was really bothered because that wasn’t how she remembered things happening.
