I can’t believe it’s been four years since the last season! But I’m so excited that Mob Psycho 100 is coming back to celebrate its 10th anniversary – it’s a huge milestone! Seriously, this show has really stood the test of time. A lot of fans, myself included, think it’s not just one of the best anime of the 2010s, but one of the greatest ever. It really took ONE’s original manga and elevated it to something special, and it’s still amazing to watch even after all these years!
This year marks a big celebration for Mob Psycho 100! To commemorate both the anime’s 10th anniversary and the birthday of its main character, Shigeo Kagayama (May 12th), a new poster and special artwork from creator ONE have been released. This is just the beginning of a summer-long series of events celebrating the milestone.
Mob Psycho 100 Returns for 10th Anniversary

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the anime, creator ONE shared a message thanking fans, the director, staff, and everyone involved in bringing Mob Psycho 100 to life. They expressed joy that the series continues to be enjoyed after all these years. Setsuo Ito, the voice of Mob, also congratulated fans on the milestone, expressing his surprise and delight that it’s already been a decade since the anime first aired.
Ito expressed disbelief and joy, saying so much has changed in the last ten years, but Mob Psycho 100 and the character Shigeo Kageyama still mean a lot to them. They would be thrilled if the series continues to resonate with fans, and remain thankful for the opportunity to have been involved, just as they were a decade ago. They expressed their gratitude and announced that Japan will be holding special events for fans this summer, with the possibility of expanding those events internationally.
What’s So Special About Mob Psycho 100?

Even after three seasons, Mob Psycho 100 remains a unique and compelling story. It follows Mob, the world’s most powerful psychic, who surprisingly doesn’t want to be. He strives to achieve his goals through hard work and determination, not his powers, and the series beautifully shows his growth into a confident and capable individual.
The story of Mob Psycho 100 was great to begin with, but the anime adaptation truly exceeded expectations. Produced by Studio Bones and airing from 2016 to 2022, it was an exceptionally well-made series that remains unmatched even now.
