Konami Successfully Revives Silent Hill with Strong Sales for 2 Remake, F

Konami is seeing success with its renewed Silent Hill series. Recent sales figures show strong performance for both Silent Hill F and a remake of the classic, Silent Hill 2.

By April 22nd, 2026, Silent Hill F had sold over two million copies since its release in September 2025. Shortly after, on April 24th, 2026, more than six million people had played the Silent Hill 2 remake. While the remake has been available through PS Plus Extra for over six months, it had already sold over 2.5 million copies before being added to the subscription service.

Around the same time, Konami revealed that Silent Hill 2 accounted for about 25% of all sales across the entire Silent Hill series. With the addition of purchases for the new Silent Hill F, these two latest games now make up a significant part of the franchise’s overall video game sales.

To celebrate strong sales, Konami is offering a 40% discount on the digital bundle of Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill F for PlayStation 5. You can get both games on the PS Store for £68.99 or $59.99 until May 27th, 2026.

But the Silent Hill revival isn’t over yet. Later in 2024, players can expect Silent Hill: Townfall on PlayStation 5, and Bloober Team is officially remaking the original Silent Hill for PlayStation 1.

We really liked the latest Silent Hill games, giving Silent Hill 2 a 9 out of 10 and Silent Hill F a 7 out of 10. About the remake of Silent Hill 2, we noted that it still captures what made the original game from 2001 so special, with its memorable story, engaging exploration, and impactful combat.
