Megan Walsh, who has been abusing Will Driscoll, may finally face consequences in Coronation Street. Will has reported her to the police.
I was so intrigued when Kate Brooks, the producer, hinted earlier this month that there’s still more to the story! She did reassure us, though, that she will ultimately face the consequences for her actions, which is good to know.
Brooks explained the story centers on a family dealing with collapse, but ultimately working to rebuild and fix the problems caused by Megan’s actions.
Look, as a long-time watcher of these shows, I know there are rules, right? If someone does something bad, there’s gotta be consequences. So, Megan can’t just walk away from this without paying for it somehow. The writers will make sure of that, and they’ll do it through the storyline – it’ll all unfold naturally within the plot.
I’m not sure how things will turn out, but this situation is going to be a significant one. Will is really struggling after his experience with Megan, and things are likely to get difficult.

The man who sexually abused a child was planning to flee to France with his student. The student had stolen £2,000 from the Rovers Return and lied to his family, telling them he was moving to Glasgow to be near his mother.
So, this guy Will’s train got cancelled, and honestly, as a movie buff, I immediately thought something was up! The taxi driver, Tim Metcalfe, got a weird vibe from Will’s insistence on still getting to Piccadilly station. Turns out, Will wasn’t trying to get to Piccadilly, he was just using it as a stepping stone – he was planning to grab another cab to the airport! Classic misdirection, right?
The conversation shifted to Tim’s difficult childhood, and he revealed he’d been abused by a shopkeeper named Trisha. He admitted that, as a child, he mistakenly believed his relationship with her gave him status among his peers, but now understands it was harmful and wrong.

Tim got Will to finally confess everything by opening up about his own experiences. Will admitted he’d been having a sexual relationship with Megan, that she was pregnant, and that they both hoped to start a new life together.
However, he wasn’t pleased to discover he’d been taken to the police station. Tim pointed out how worried his family would be if he stayed away and wondered if Megan would leave Will if he didn’t return.
With that in mind, Will entered the station and spoke to the police.
Today on the show, Megan was stopped as she attempted to leave the country and brought in for questioning by Detective Sergeant Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers). Megan strongly insisted that the interview was pointless, both for the police and for herself.

Lisa explained they simply needed to determine if Megan was at fault and if she had always acted professionally. Megan, while insisting nothing happened and claiming the Driscolls were mistaken, was shocked to discover that Will had filed the complaint.
Will felt guilty about his choices and confessed to his father, Ben, that Megan would be upset with him. Despite everything, he still thought they loved each other and could have been happy together.
Ben revealed that Megan was actually at the airport, intending to leave, when the police arrested her. This made Will realize she hadn’t been honest about wanting a future with him.
At the police station, Lisa accused Megan of encouraging inappropriate behavior with a child. She denied Megan bail, believing Megan might try to leave the area and continue to be a danger to Will.
Is this the end of Will’s turmoil?
