Giuliana Rancic isn’t going to police the red carpet.
That’s why the former host of Fashion Police, who covered celebrity events like award shows and premieres for TopMob for two decades before leaving in 2021, is welcoming the increasing trend of influencers reporting from the red carpet.
Whether someone has a formal journalism education, experience in smaller news markets, or even started creating content on platforms like YouTube or Instagram isn’t the most important thing,” Giuliana shared with TopMob News in an interview with her husband, Bill Rancic. “Ultimately, it’s about the individual’s personality and character.”
She explained that success hinges on your personality and ability to build rapport – both with the person you’re interviewing and with the audience watching.
The former host of TopMob News also gets why some people aren’t thrilled with this change. She points out that covering red carpet events takes a lot of preparation and research too.
She explained that she was consistently well-prepared because she worked in news daily and was constantly immersed in the entertainment world. This meant she was familiar with all the latest movies, TV shows, and celebrities, as she interviewed them regularly throughout the year.
Still, Giuliana said some of her “best interviews” were ones when she was “in the moment.”
She explained that surprisingly, she often had better interviews when she didn’t overprepare. Being too rehearsed can make you miss important cues, so finding the right balance is key.
The 51-year-old added, “To be really good at that, there’s a lot of natural ability.”

Giuliana is launching a new podcast with her husband of more than 18 years! Called Bill and Giuliana: The Podcast on iHeartRadio, they’ll be answering the most popular questions people are searching for online each week.
Bill, 54, explained to TopMob that he and his co-host are naturally curious and always eager to learn and explore new things. He said this desire for knowledge is a key part of what drives their podcast.
Giuliana actually came up with the idea for the podcast last year when she was searching online for information about colonoscopies.
She joked that this podcast has become surprisingly personal for them. She said it feels even more open and honest than their previous reality show, Giuliana and Bill, which aired for seven seasons between 2009 and 2014. They’re discussing topics they never covered on the reality show.

You know, it’s funny where inspiration strikes! I actually got the idea for my podcast last year while I was doing some research online about colonoscopies. I was literally Googling questions I had, and it hit me – so many people probably have the same ones, and there’s a real need for open, honest conversation about these things.
I’m honestly blown away by how open and honest this podcast has become! They recently said it feels even more revealing than their old reality show, Giuliana and Bill, which was on for seven seasons. Apparently, they’re finally talking about things they just never covered on TV, and it’s incredible to hear.

Giuliana and Bill have agreed not to share private information about their 13-year-old son, Duke.
Bill explained that his son is being kept out of the public spotlight for now, until he’s old enough to decide if he wants that kind of attention. Ultimately, it will be his own choice.
Giuliana explained that Duke doesn’t use social media and isn’t interested in being a content creator or a celebrity on the red carpet.
He prefers to stay out of the spotlight, unlike us, but he’s a real go-getter,” she explained. “He’s passionate about business and consistently develops fantastic ideas that benefit us all.

Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s daughter is building a career as a social media influencer. On her Bravo show, Next Gen NYC, she revealed she earns $1,000 for each sponsored post she makes on TikTok.
She explained in a July 2025 interview that living in New York City requires a significantly higher income than she had in Atlanta, and she’s focused on maximizing her earnings.
Ariana started making money from brand deals when she was just 14 years old, and she explains that these opportunities can be incredibly profitable. She says you can earn a lot of money for things like sponsored stories or Instagram posts, and she personally made a significant amount this way.

In June 2025, she revealed that a sex toy company offered her $100,000 for a promotional deal she declined. The offer included four social media posts – two on Instagram and TikTok each – plus two segments for YouTube.

The popular YouTuber, with more than 430 million followers, announced in February 2025 that his assets had reached a value of over one billion dollars, at least on paper.
However, he explained that he mostly doesn’t keep that money for himself.
He shared on the Diary of a CEO podcast that he doesn’t have a million dollars in his bank account, explaining that he prefers to reinvest any earnings instead of letting the money sit there.
Despite being worth an estimated $2.6 billion, he recently stated in January 2026 that he has no money available to spend.
MrBeast explained to the Wall Street Journal that he’s currently borrowing money because he doesn’t have much cash on hand. He jokingly added that if you don’t count the value of his company, most people watching his videos actually have more money in the bank than he does – not even enough for a McDonald’s breakfast.

The content creator announced she earned more than $43 million in a single year on OnlyFans. She even posted screenshots of her earnings from November 2023 to November 2024, showing she received a $4.7 million payment from just one fan.

The former Dance Moms star shared that she earned a substantial income – easily over $100,000 a month – from her YouTube videos when she was just 13 years old. In the 2024 documentary Child Star, she also explained that she now posts frequently on Snapchat, sometimes up to 300 times a day, as part of her work as a social media influencer.

The TikToker revealed he has a net worth of over seven figures.
He jokingly responded to criticism in a July 2024 video, saying, ‘You can call me annoying if you want – it’s actually made me a millionaire.’

The makeup artist shared that he makes around $50,000 each time he hosts a live stream on TikTok—something he does four to five times a week—by selling makeup and receiving gifts from viewers.
Jeffree Star said on the Cancelled podcast in November 2024 that he can earn $50,000, but sometimes he doesn’t sell anything at all. On those days, he enjoys making bacon at home, relaxing in his bathrobe and slippers, and connecting with fans through a casual Q&A session.
Other times, he’s making bank by offering discounts on his own branded makeup products.
“It’s a niche market but it’s massive,” he added. “We’re the No. 1 or 2 beauty store.”

The OnlyFans creator, who gained attention in December 2024 for a widely reported event involving intimate encounters with 101 men in a single day, recently told TopMob News that she makes a significant income from creating adult content on the platform.
As for a ballpark figure, she said, “Oh, we’re in the millions.”

Markell, a popular creator known for his dance videos, revealed in 2023 that he makes between $500,000 and $700,000 annually. Most of his income comes from sponsorships with brands and revenue from ads within his Snapchat videos.

After finding fame on the Netflix show Love Is Blind in 2022, the couple became popular on social media and reportedly earned $500,000 each as influencers in under two years.

Just like with other opportunities, the stars of The Hills also tried using social media to earn income following the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. However, their earnings weren’t as high as many assumed.
Spencer said that reports claimed they made $3.5 million in one week. He joked that if it had been true, they’d already be house-hunting in Bel Air.
Instead, he revealed he only made $3,500 that week from the 5,000 videos on his TikTok page.

In January 2024, the popular ASMR YouTuber @itsblitzzz revealed she still earns around $56,400 annually from ads on her older videos, even though she hasn’t made any new content recently.
In just 14 years, she’s earned over $610,000 from ads on the platform, even with fewer than a million subscribers.

In September 2024, the ASMR artist earned $3,948.05 from TikTok, where she has almost 400,000 followers, and $910.95 from YouTube, with around 27,000 subscribers.

A YouTuber from Minnesota earned more than $193,000 on OnlyFans between January 2020 and December 2022, according to a recent article she published on Medium.

Okay, so I was listening to The Really Good Podcast last year, and they dropped this HUGE bomb – my absolute favorite creator made FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS from just one sponsored video! Can you believe it?! It’s insane, and honestly, it just proves how amazing they are. I’ve been following them forever, and I knew they deserved all the success, but fifty grand for a single video? Mind-blowing!

In 2023, a chronic illness advocate shared with Salary Transparency Street that she makes around $150,000 annually, despite having fewer than 40,000 followers on Instagram.

The comedian revealed to Salary Transparency Street that they typically earn between $5,000 and $10,000 for each sponsored video they create.

Okay, so I’ve been sharing a little about income from my YouTube channel lately, and a lot of you have asked for specifics. From August 2023 through January 2024, I earned $4,746.94 through YouTube’s monetization program. And here’s the interesting part – I did that with just under 30,000 subscribers and a total of around 923,700 views across all my videos. I wanted to share that because it shows you don’t need millions of views or a huge following to start seeing some income from your content!
