Today only, Xbox and Bethesda are offering a free game that’s considered one of the best action-adventure titles from the late 2010s and a standout Bethesda game from the last ten years. Normally costing around $30, you can now get it for free through a giveaway from Lenovo Gaming. You’ll need a free Lenovo account to claim the game.
Okay, so there’s a giveaway going on, and I really want a key for Dishonored 2! The thing is, they don’t have endless keys, so you have to be quick. I’ve seen that if you jump on Lenovo’s giveaways right when they start, you usually get one without a problem. For anyone who doesn’t know, Dishonored 2 is the sequel to the awesome Dishonored from 2012. It’s an action-adventure game where stealth is a big part of it, and it came out in 2016. It was a huge hit – it got an 88 on Metacritic and even won Best Action/Adventure Game at The Game Awards that year, so it’s definitely worth trying to snag a key!
How to Get the Bethesda Game for Free
If you’re hoping to get Dishonored 2 for free, you’ll need to create a free account and then join the giveaway when it starts at 12 pm Eastern Time. You’ll be placed in a queue, and once you reach the front, you’ll have 10 minutes to claim your key. Before or during this process, you’ll need to connect and verify your Unlimited Steam Account. Once you receive your key voucher, you can redeem it on Gamesplanet to get a free Steam key for the game. This giveaway is only for PC players; console versions are not available.
If you get a free copy of Dishonored 2, you don’t have to play the original Dishonored first. However, the games are linked, and understanding the first game will enhance your experience with the sequel. Dishonored 2 lets you choose between two main characters – the hero from the first game and a significant character from it. Even so, Dishonored 2 is perfectly enjoyable on its own.
If you’re planning to play Dishonored 2, set aside a good chunk of time. You can finish the main story in around 10 to 15 hours, but exploring everything the game offers will take 20 to 25 hours. If you aim to complete absolutely everything, expect to spend around 50 hours in this stealth-action adventure.
