With the upcoming release of “Reze Arc”, there’s been a significant surge in popularity for the opening theme song from Season 1, “KICKBACK” by Kenshi Yonezu. This track, known for its catchy tune and creative opening credits sequence loaded with film and TV references, has just broken past the 200 million views mark on Kenshi Yonezu’s YouTube channel.
Fans loved the opening sequence from Season 1, and it’s raised the expectation level for future episodes. Not only that, but the accompanying song garnered a whopping 200 million views on YouTube, and more than 450 million spins on Spotify.
Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc Releases This October
Enthusiasts of “Chainsaw Man” won’t have long to wait, as “Reze Arc” is due to grace the screens of American cinemas starting from October 29th, following its Japanese debut on September 19th.
The first complete trailer for the “Reze Arc” film has been released, featuring dramatically enhanced visuals from Studio MAPPA that embody Tatsuki Fujimoto’s vibrant and daring art style. This sneak peek also includes a glimpse of the movie’s theme song. Kenshi Yonezu will be contributing the theme for this production, entitled “IRIS OUT.” A brief sample of the song can be heard in the trailer, as well as the best preview to date of the titular character Reze (also known as The Bomb Devil).
