Netflix is taking its content off the screen and onto the stage with a brand-new global concert tour. The company has just announced the exciting news!
Netflix announced at its recent presentation that it’s partnering with AEG to create a worldwide tour based on KPop Demon Hunters. The tour promises to bring exciting aspects of the film to life on stage. So far, there’s no information about when and where the tour will take place, how much tickets will cost, or if any of the original voice actors will participate.
Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters Global Tour is On The Way
As a huge fan, I’m so excited about the KPop Demon Hunters tour! We don’t have all the details yet, but they’ve opened up a waitlist so we can be the first to find out when cities, dates, and ticket info will be announced – looks like later this year is when we’ll finally get the full scoop!
EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami have already helped promote the movie by performing live on TV shows like New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and at the Academy Awards. The soundtrack also features music from Huntrix’s competitors, the Saja Boys.
Although KPop Demon Hunters is aiming for a younger audience than most K-Pop concerts attract, AEG has a strong track record with major K-Pop artists. They’ve produced tours for groups like Blackpink, ATEEZ, NCT 127, and Tomorrow x Together, just to name a few. It’s still uncertain whether the KPop Demon Hunters tour will appeal to the same broad audience as these established artists, or if it will primarily draw in the younger fans who are already following the game.
The Netflix film KPop Demon Hunters, released in June 2025, became the platform’s most popular original title ever, attracting over 500 million viewers. The film’s stunning visuals and captivating story—about a K-pop girl group who secretly fight demons—immediately went viral, boosted by popular songs like ‘Golden’ and ‘Soda Pop’.
The animated movie has been almost universally praised for its stunning visuals, excellent voice performances, and memorable music. It was a major awards winner, taking home both Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song (‘Golden’) at the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards.
The Inevitable KPop Demon Hunters Sequel is Already In The Works
Although a world tour for KPop Demon Hunters is still a ways off, fans are excited to hear that a sequel is in the works. However, it will be a considerable wait – the film KPop Demon Hunters 2 was initially slated for 2029, and updates suggest it may be even further out.
Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans are set to write and direct the sequel, officially confirmed in March 2026. While the story is still a secret, the creators have hinted that it will be more ambitious and expansive than the first film.
The new series, KPop Demon Hunters, is available to watch on Netflix. Details about a possible world tour should be announced soon.
