Kylie Jenner Shares She Was on Bed Rest During Pregnancy With Son Air

Kylie Jenner had a hard time rising and shining while pregnant. 

Kylie Jenner recently shared her experiences with her pregnancies with Travis Scott’s children, Stormi, 8, and Aire, 4, explaining that her second pregnancy was more challenging than her first.

I was so shocked when Kylie talked about her last pregnancy on the Therapuss podcast. She explained that around 12 weeks in, she just woke up one morning unable to walk! She said she had terrible sciatica and really bad lower back pain – it sounded awful, and she really struggled through it.

Although Kylie had been feeling great and was in excellent shape before getting pregnant with Aire (born in 2022), her pregnancy wasn’t entirely smooth. She revealed she even had to stay in bed for a period of time on doctor’s orders.

She explained she was unable to get out of bed due to severe back and sciatic pain. She was also experiencing complications with her pregnancy; she was three centimeters dilated for over a month, and felt like the baby was coming out. Her doctor advised her to remain on bed rest.

I’ve been following Kylie’s journey, and it’s been so interesting to see how things unfolded with her second pregnancy. She actually planned to really focus on fitness this time around, but it just didn’t happen – and honestly, that’s totally relatable! Especially with everything else going on, including her relationship with Timothée Chalamet, which started in 2023, I can understand why her plans changed.

She remembered gaining about 65 pounds during her pregnancy with her son. She felt very large and ate whatever she wanted, including a pint of ice cream every night and a lot of carbohydrates like bagels. She explained that she had severe nausea, and if she didn’t eat, she felt much worse.

Despite the challenges of pregnancy, Kylie feels having her two children was completely worth it. She says being a mom is “the best.”
