Fans are excited for the return of My Adventures with Superman on Adult Swim! Season 3 arrives this June, and a recent trailer gave everyone a first glimpse of what’s in store. The show, which premiered three years ago, quickly became a fan favorite with its unique anime-style take on classic DC Comics characters. Luckily, after Season 2 ended, a third season was already confirmed, and now it’s almost here!
Season 3 of My Adventures with Superman is coming to Adult Swim this June! The new season will adapt the ‘Reign of the Supermen’ storyline from the classic DC Comics, and like previous seasons, it will offer a fresh take on familiar characters and ideas. You can watch the first trailer, released by Adult Swim, below.
When Does My Adventures with Superman Season 3 Come Out?
Season 3 of My Adventures with Superman will premiere on Adult Swim on Saturday, June 13th at midnight Eastern and Pacific time as part of the Toonami block. It will then be available to stream on HBO Max the following day. Jack Quaid, Alice Lee, and Ishmel Sahid will all return as Clark Kent/Superman, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen, respectively. Kiana Madeira, who first appeared in Season 2, will also be back as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, now as a full member of the main group.
The upcoming ‘Reign of the Supermen’ arc will introduce several new characters, including Hank Crenshaw as Cyborg Superman, and welcome Darren Criss – known for voicing Superman in Superman: Man of Tomorrow – as Superboy. Expect even more new faces as Clark and his allies face significant challenges in the new season. We also have a better understanding of the season’s overall storyline.
What’s New for My Adventures with Superman Season 3?
Season 3 of My Adventures with Superman kicks off with Clark fully embracing his identity as Superman and coming to terms with his Kryptonian heritage – he’s looking forward to a more settled life! However, Lois Lane, now the lead reporter at the Planet, isn’t quite on the same page. Meanwhile, Jimmy Olsen has moved up from freelance photographer to a well-known celebrity journalist, but he’s still a little nervous about Kara Zor-El’s romantic interest in him as she adjusts to life on Earth. And there’s even more to the story than that!
This season promises more action, comedy, and romance as our close-knit group of heroes faces their most powerful enemies yet. These new threats will challenge Superman, put their future in danger, and really test their relationships. The question is: can they save tomorrow before today falls apart? With everything they’ve already overcome, things are only going to get more intense.
