LeAnn Rimes is pulling the curtain back on her life.
Just weeks after celebrating 15 years of marriage with Eddie Cibrian despite some difficult family challenges, the star of 9-1-1: Nashville has opened up further about what they’ve been going through.
LeAnn shared in a recent post that her parent is currently in rehab after suffering a stroke several weeks ago, and the family is understandably heartbroken.
My husband and I are both only children, so he’s always had a lot of responsibility. It’s really painful to watch someone you love struggle with so much when you’re already dealing with your own challenges.
The singer of “Can’t Fight The Moonlight,” who recently had to postpone two more concerts on her 30 Years of Blue tour because she wasn’t feeling well, has been thinking about the hardest parts of what she’s going through.
It’s been incredibly difficult watching the people I care about suffer, especially while I’m going through my own struggles,” she said. “If I’m being honest, that’s been the toughest part—not the physical pain itself, but feeling powerless, exposed, and unsure of what’s going to happen.
“It feels like when bad things happen, they all happen at once,” LeAnn said. “Right now, it feels like everything has been taken away, and I’m starting over.”
Last month, the 43-year-old revealed some of the challenges her family faces, sharing details while discussing their trip to Cabo. She is the stepmother to Eddie and the children of Brandi Glanville – Mason, 22, and Jake, 19.

I recently took three days to completely disconnect – we all need that sometimes, right? Work had been demanding, and honestly, things were really tough at home with family. It wasn’t the anniversary trip we’d envisioned; there were definitely tears and a lot of worry. But even amidst all that, we managed to find moments of genuine laughter and felt so grateful for our relationship. It was a different kind of celebration, for sure, but a meaningful one.
She continued, saying that every day they navigate life’s ups and downs together, and she’s incredibly thankful to have him by her side. After 15 years of marriage, they’ve faced a lot, learned to support each other through good times and bad, and built a strong, lasting relationship. She’s deeply proud of everything they’ve accomplished as a couple.

In May 2026, the host of the BFFs podcast had emergency surgery when doctors found a large cyst on her ovary. The cyst was twisting her internal organs and causing her to bleed internally.
After her operation, Brianna explained in a TikTok video that doctors found about half a liter of blood inside her pelvic area. She also had five cuts on her stomach, and the surgeons used a camera inserted through her belly button to locate the source of the bleeding.

As a huge fan of both Nikki and Piper, I was shocked to hear about what happened! Nikki recently shared that she actually had one of her breast implants move after Piper accidentally hit her with an elbow during their match back in July 2025. It’s crazy to think about something like that happening in the ring!
She reassured her sister, Bella Garcia, that they would get the issue resolved eventually. She explained to the doctor that as soon as she finished her current commitments – implying after her divorce was finalized – she’d return to address the problem and ensure everything looked its best, because she planned to use them again and they needed to be in good condition.

Lupita Nyong’o received a diagnosis of uterine fibroids – non-cancerous growths in or around the womb – in 2014, the year she won an Academy Award for her acting.
She didn’t share her diagnosis until 2025, when she revealed on Instagram that she had been privately struggling with the condition for over ten years.
Growing up, I was always told that periods were supposed to hurt – that pain was just something women had to deal with. It felt like I was going through this incredibly personal experience all by myself, and it’s something so many of us share.

In July 2025, the actress from Daisy Jones & The Six revealed she was hospitalized for a hernia. This happened because she’d been wearing pants that were too tight, which caused a gap in her abdominal muscles.
Someone messaged Suki on X (formerly Twitter) asking why she hadn’t posted in a while. Suki jokingly replied, explaining she’d been hiding a painful hernia she got from wearing overly tight pants six months ago and was afraid to mention it.

The former star of Beverly Hills, 90210 shared in April 2025 that he was recovering from surgery because his appendix was close to rupturing.
Brian shared in an Instagram video that he recently experienced stomach pain which led him to the emergency room. He explained that his appendix had a hole in it – it hadn’t fully burst, but was very close to doing so.
He added, “I’m on the road to recovery. It’s not an easy process. This is my first major surgery.”

During a soccer game against Seattle Reign on September 14th at Lumen Field in Seattle, a midfielder for Racing Louisville collapsed after only a few minutes of play.
According to Reuters, the U.S. Women’s National Team player was seen slowly sitting down on the field with a teammate for support when the referee signaled for medical staff. She then collapsed shortly after.
I was so relieved to hear that Savannah got immediate medical attention right on the field. The NWSL posted later that night saying she was taken to the hospital to be checked out further, but thankfully, she’s stable and alert. It was scary, but it’s good to know she’s doing okay.

Adam Devine revealed that injuries from being hit by a cement truck at age 11 still cause him problems today.
Let me tell you, the last year has been incredibly tough. I was dealing with these awful spasms all over my body, and honestly, doctors were telling me things were very serious – they actually said I was facing a life-threatening situation. It was a really scary time, and I’m still navigating it, but I’m grateful to be here.
He explained that his pain is intermittent, and described having some physical imperfections and minor health issues.

The reality TV star revealed he had to crawl to the hospital because of severe back pain that got worse during a road trip with a friend.
He described a persistent tingling sensation in his knees and toes during a March 2025 podcast episode of Trading Secrets. To illustrate the extent of the issue, he mentioned that just a few weeks prior, he was able to squat 295 pounds. Now, he can’t even do a squat, struggles with one-legged balancing, and often falls. He compared the feeling to having a stroke.
But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

Gina Kirschenheiter, from The Real Housewives of Orange County, revealed that her ex-husband, Matt Kirschenheiter, had a heart attack in March 2025, but he is recovering well.

In March 2025, the actor from 30 Rock experienced a medical issue at a New York Knicks game and had to be taken out of Madison Square Garden in a wheelchair.
The comedian later posted on social media to explain that he hadn’t been feeling well due to food poisoning, but he was starting to feel better.

In February 2025, actress Shiri Appleby, known from Even Stevens, revealed she was shot in the face during a birthday celebration for her husband, Brendan Rooney. They were on a trip to go clay pigeon shooting when the incident occurred.
In an Instagram post, she explained that she was accidentally shot in the face by someone at a party who fired a weapon unsafely. Thankfully, @thebrendanrooney quickly helped her, evaluated her injuries, and drove her to the hospital. She was hit five times, and one of the shots narrowly missed her right eye, coming within less than an inch.
According to the Kim Possible actress, a small piece of something became stuck behind her eye. Doctors have advised against surgery to remove it right now, as it’s considered too dangerous. She’s currently being monitored, and thankfully, her vision is still normal.
The actress expressed immense gratitude for surviving a frightening experience. She shared her deep love for her daughters, husband, family, and friends, and urged everyone to cherish their loved ones. ‘I realized how quickly life can change,’ she explained, ‘so hug the people you care about whenever you have the chance.’

Amy Schumer is grateful for the internet, despite its often negative side, because it helped her discover a health issue. After noticing she looked “puffier” and receiving critical comments online, doctors began commenting on interviews, suggesting she might have Cushing syndrome, a condition related to high cortisol levels or steroid injections. This prompted Amy to realize she had been receiving steroid injections after a breast reduction and C-section. She later learned she had a form of Cushing syndrome that would resolve on its own, which she called “the greatest news imaginable.” She shared this relief in a February 2024 newsletter, thankful to be healthy.

During a game in December 2024, an AHL player was accidentally cut in the face by another player’s skate and needed 25 stitches. After his son fully recovered, New Jersey Devils General Manager Tom Fitzgerald told ESPN how relieved they were, saying, “We feel very lucky, and no parent should ever have to go through that.”

In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced a frightening health scare while having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber. She suddenly started having stroke-like symptoms, unable to speak and noticing her face drooping. Although her speech and facial movement eventually returned, she went to the hospital for testing. Doctors discovered she had a small blood clot in her brain, which they identified as a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack), often called a ‘mini-stroke.’ Further investigation at UCLA revealed Hailey had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). This hole allowed the blood clot to travel to her brain, causing the TIA. Hailey successfully underwent a procedure to close the hole in her heart and is now doing well.

Oh my gosh, 2022 was just… a lot. It wasn’t just Hailey going through something, Justin had his own terrifying ordeal right around the same time! He revealed he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, and honestly, my heart just broke when I saw the video he posted. He explained how it caused paralysis on one side of his face – he couldn’t blink, couldn’t smile, even his nostril wouldn’t move! He said it was getting harder and harder to even eat. It was so scary to watch, and I was just constantly worried about him. Thankfully, Hailey kept us updated, and she said he was doing really well and feeling much better. She said it was a random, scary thing, but he was going to be okay, and honestly, hearing her say that was such a relief. I’m just so grateful he recovered; he’s so strong!

Jamie Foxx recently shared details about the serious health scare he experienced in April 2023, which he had initially kept private. In his 2024 Netflix special, What Had Happened Was…, he explained that he suffered a severe headache while in Atlanta and lost consciousness before he could even take an aspirin. He doesn’t remember the next 20 days.
Initially, a doctor gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his sister, Deidra Dixon, was worried and took him to the hospital. There, doctors discovered he’d had a brain bleed that caused a stroke.
After surgery, it took 20 days for Foxx to regain consciousness. He woke up on May 4th in a wheelchair, unable to walk, and then traveled to Chicago for extensive rehabilitation and therapy.
Foxx expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support he received, saying, “I appreciate every prayer, because I needed every prayer.”

I was absolutely shocked to hear that the reality star actually ‘died’ while running the first challenge on the NBC show! It was a mile run, and she said she literally stopped breathing – so scary!
She shared on the show Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser that her memory of the event was fragmented. She recalled hearing a helicopter, feeling as if she was floating, and then seeing her grandfather. After that, everything went dark, but she then experienced a bright light, which led her to realize she had died that day.
She explained that her organs were failing. She hadn’t known she had rhabdomyolysis, a condition where the body essentially begins to shut down.

Emilia Clarke, known for her role in Game of Thrones, revealed a harrowing health battle in a 2019 essay for The New Yorker. While filming the show, she experienced a sudden and severe headache while at the gym. She described becoming violently ill and realizing something was seriously wrong with her brain.
A hospital scan quickly revealed a subarachnoid hemorrhage – a life-threatening stroke caused by bleeding around the brain. She had suffered an aneurysm, a rupture in an artery. Immediate surgery was performed to repair it, but the pain was excruciating. During her recovery, she experienced aphasia, leaving her unable to speak coherently.
Though the aphasia eventually passed and she was discharged after a month, a 2013 scan revealed the aneurysm had grown and required a second surgery. This procedure failed, causing a massive bleed and putting her life at risk. Doctors had to perform a more invasive surgery, accessing her brain directly through her skull.
Fortunately, Emilia is now fully recovered and says she is “at a hundred per cent.”

Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, recently shared how thankful she is for her family’s support after a health scare. In January 2024, Cori suffered a stroke and immediately reached out to her loved ones, sending a text and a picture to let them know what happened. She told TopMob News that everyone quickly came to her aid.
Cori ended up staying in the hospital longer than expected due to other health issues. While she could have gone home after the stroke, she was also dealing with complications from lupus and kidney problems.
Fortunately, Cori is now recovering well. She says she’s doing great and is working on regaining some motor skills, but is otherwise feeling fine.

Shailene Woodley struggled with significant health issues throughout her early twenties. In a September 2024 podcast interview, she described a time when she was losing her hearing, unable to walk for more than a few minutes without needing to rest for hours, and experiencing stomach pain with everything she ate. She faced confusion as different doctors offered varying diagnoses.
Determined to find answers, Shailene, who has kept the specific condition private, combined traditional medical care with holistic and herbal remedies. This search for well-being lasted for ten years.
She explained that the physical discomfort led to deeper issues, including fear of food and struggles with body image, identity, and feeling comfortable in her own body. However, after focusing on both her physical and mental health, Shailene is now doing much better. She happily shared that her health issues have resolved and she is very healthy now.
